Brown's Tavern

Again, I got thia information I got from a brochure from the Chattanooga Area Convention & Visitors Bureau from Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Brown's Tavern was the house of Cherokee Indian John Brown in 1803. It is presently one of the oldest remaining Cherokee residences and has been maintained as is. Legends say that many travelers were robbed and killed at the tavern. It is presently fenced and not open for public viewing, but a marker is placed outside near the street.

Travel south on Broad Street on U.S. 64 & 41, to Pan Gap road through Lookout Valley to the foot of Raccoon Mountain.
