Q. In the Shadow Temple how do you get the boss key if the the spiked walls are always closing on you?
Nintendobo@aol.com

A. To get the boss key located in the room with all the spikes...you must use the spell ---"Din's Fire"--- It will burn the wooden spiked walls, after which you willl be able to get the boss key.

Q. Who do you give the rabbit mask to, where do you find him?
Wildkard2@hotmail.com

A. OK...You sell it to the guard at the gate between Kakariko Village and the entrance to Death Mountain Trail. Be wearing the mask and talk to the guard and he will buy it from you...then you take the money back to the mask shop.

Q. How do I get to the fairy at the top of Death Mountain?
tracie@micron.net

A. To get the Fairy all you have to do is bomb the rock in front of a hole at the very top of Death Mountain...you can climb the blocked stairs by blowing up the rocks that are in the way. The Fairy's cave is located just to the left of the entrance to the Crater on Death Mountain. Once you enter her cave keep going and when you get to a fancy looking pond surrounded by a stone fence...stand on the Triforce that is on the floor and play the song of the royal family...the ever usefull-----------"Zelda's Lullaby"---------.

Q. What does Shiek mean when he tells you to go to Kakriko Village to "learn a new ability" before you goto the Forest Temple?.
jean_ju_liu@hotmail.com

A. What ShieK means is that you need to goto the graveyard in Kakariko Village and enter the gravekeepers(Dampe's) grave and race him. His grave is the only other grave with the "Triforce Flowers" in front of it. All you have to do is to keep him in your sight. If you suceed he will award you with the Hookshot...which is what you have to use to enter the Forest Temple.

Q. I played Quest 64, and in that game you couldn't jump. I felt really weighed down in it, so much that I couldn't play through it... It actually gave me a headache! Does Zelda 64 have this sort of "weighed-down" feel, or do you forget that you can't jump? How does it compare in FEEL to Q64? I guess I am really worried about the "no jumping." I was really looking for a Mario64 feel with the character control. I have to wait until Christmas to play it.
DriftSpace@aol.com

A. In comparison to Quest 64, Zelda46 is a million times better. You do get to jump in Zelda in a lot of places(more then you would expect), unlike in Quest 64, it still gives you the feeling that you can move around freely...HOWEVER, if you use the Z-Targeting technique you can jump around; You can do a back flip, and you can jump from side to side. Experiment with it but, from experience, Zelda64 doesnt cause headaches like Quest64.

Q. How do you get past the locked gates in the Forest Temple after you have beaten all 4 ghosts and have gone down the elevator and you are in a circlular room?
Shadow7313@aol.com

A. That room in my opinion is the wierdest in the game. I have beaten the game and havn't seen a room quite as wierd as that one. There should be a few huge, like walls, sticking out of the wall. You have to get Link to push those walls around the room and check all the gates to see if you can go through them after you push the wall...if you can there should be a switch on the floor, press it, then keep doin the same thing until all the gates are gone and you can go into the bosses room from there.

Q. How do you get Epona the horse?
Zelda2103@aol.com

A. First as the kid you have to go to Lon Lon Ranch...once there go to the middle of the horse field and talk to Malon. She will say something about her mom composing this song and stuff...after shes done talking get out your ocarina and start playing it. She will see it and teach you "Epona's Song". You use this song later when you become an adult to gain Epona. When you are old go to Lon Lon Ranch(Ingo's Ranch) and talk to Ingo...pay him the 10 rupees to ride the horse. As you know the only horse you can ride is some ugly dark colored horse..to change that play Epona's song. Epone will come right up to you and follow you around. Mount Epona and the go talk to Ingo using the Z Targeting talking technique and he will challange to a horse race, accept and if you beat him 2 time he will give you the horse but he will try to lock you in the ranch. Jump the fence and leave the ranch and you will have Epona for good.

Q. Another website said that Link had red hair and brown eyes...but in all the screen shots I have seen from the "Legend Of Zelda, The Ocarina Of Time" he has blonde hair and blue eyes...what is the deal with that? jdadam@favorites.com

A. In any of the other Zelda games(with color) I have never seen Link with Red hair and brown eyes...in the Nintendo version you couldn't see his hair and he had black eyes due to the lack of memory to approve on the personal appearence of Link...in the second game he had blue eyes and a brown hair...In the SNES game he had brown hair and blue eyes...No color in the gameboy so you couldn't tell...In the new one("The Legend Of Zelda The Ocarina Of Time") he has brownish-blonde hair and has blue eyes. I looked him over and inspected him when I got this question and I found that he has Brownish-Blonde hair and blue eyes in Zelda64.
