happy new year to everyone and i'll begin by just saying how incredibly tired i am because of last night. last night, as you may know already, was kassie's party. i left home around ten of eight and then i got to kassies and everyone was watching blue collar comedy tour which was soo funny lol. let's see...john, kassie, kristin, jeremy, zach, jenn, and laura m. were all there. what a cool crowd. after we were finished watching the movie, it was time to take a bit of a break and get something to eat so we had pizza and all this other stuff. we also played with here ps2 eye toy which was a blast. i had some of the punch too which was really good and i couldn't figure out why until kassie told me that it was just mountain dew and sherbert mixed together. i think that's the stuff that kept me going all night.
so we ate for a while and it got to be real close to new years. like maybe around 11:30 and we all got our stuff ready to go out and raise hell at midnight. there were all these balloons that were in kassie's living room on the floor so we pushed them out the door and there were a total of 24 cans of silly string. there were also noisemakers and hats and stuff too.
and then the countdown began and we all screamed and yelled in the middle of the road and we ran all around and sprayed silly string everywhere until the road looked like it had been spray painted or something. i had all this silly string all over me which you probably can see a picture of in my photo album. things died down after we spent probably a half an hour outside.
we went back inside after 12:30 and jenn had to leave. john had left earlier before midnight but zach, laura m., kassie, kristin, and i were going to stay for the night. we went back inside and watched some of napoleon dynamite which had some funny parts to it but then it just seemed stupid after a while so we quit. so we took a break and zach and i played some halo in the other room while the rest went outside. we also hacky sacked out in her driveway for a while and i played my guitar. then we went back in because we wanted it to watch a movie. we were trying to decide whether or not to watch the butterfly effect but then we decided on final destination 2 which totally freaked all of us out. i was on my like 20th cup of that punch which made things slightly weirder.
everyone was real paranoid after watching it so we took another break to cool off a bit and have some more food. it was around 2 or 3 in the morning i think. we wanted to watch another movie so zach had brought along kung pow enter the fist which was realy funny in some places and really stupid in other places. so we quit watching that and just hung around for the next few hours.
the sun came up and it was sort of weird. i mean i felt kind of tired but still pretty wide awake. it seemed like it should be time to go to bed or something but the sun was coming up. i guess i just interpreted everything as one incredibly long day. i dunno but it was pretty strange and i haven't gone to sleep yet! i will go to bed in a minute though. i had a really fun time at kassie's party and i hope that i have many more experiences that are just as fun. boy when you stay up all night, it just makes the day seem longer and you can party longer. imagine what we could all accomplish if we never slept!

ps: the other day, my dad and i went out to buy a new video card and we successfully installed it and i've been really enjoying playing halo here the past few days!
