spring cleaning
well it was a nice weekend weather-wise. a high of 72 on friday made it seem really warm during the walk home from school. we took advantage of the warm weather (not as warm as friday though) and did some yard work. today was also a yard work day. we had to pick up a lot of sticks and saw a few large tree branches. i think i'll use the branches for firewood when i have a huge bonfire/volleyball party during the summer sometime. i'm gonna invite like a million people over. it'll be a blast! oh and saturn, jupiter, mars, mercury and venus (i think it was venus) were all in a big arc across the sky last night. a neat event to look at. the next time they'll all be in a line across the sky will be in 30 years...

good friday
hey there whoever is reading this,

friday went alright today. i got a good grade on my history test which was on world war 1. i wish we could do that trench project thing that the 1st semester classes got to do. it looked really fun. and i don't think it's that fair that some people get to do it and others don't. maybe that will change someday. we had trip band this morning for the people going on that huge band trip. and then we had a messed up schedule today so i had band again and then gym. and then history, then lunch, then english, then art. i hate weird schedules.

that big trip is coming up soon
hey i'm back,

that big band trip is coming up soon and i'm really looking forward to it. i'll be staying in a room with markie, derek, and ronnie. it's gonna be a blast. oh and monique came back to school today after being absent for almost 6 weeks because of her pregnancy. all seems to be well. i also have this big test in history class tomorrow and i hope i pass because i need to bring my grade up. kawika emailed me for the first time in like a month (lol j/m). it's all good. hey kawika if you're reading this, take a break from work! you need it!

i've been kind of busy
hey i'm back again and it's been a while since my last entry. we had our first jre performance at rose manor retirement home and it went well. i also just updated the main webpage last night and i think it looks pretty cool. people are saying that it looks good. i also just got my hair cut. yes i got all them cut and not just one silly.

today
today we had jre (jazzr rock ensemble) and that was a blast with all the eccentric people we have in it. we are also planning a secret party that will be staged during the band trip in april. we're just trying to figure out how we're gonna fit 20 people in one motel room and at the same time keeping quiet enough that we don't disturb other people sleeping. man it would be so funny if mr. forney suddenly walked in on all of us playing twister on the floor and me throwing myself off of a bed onto the mosh pit while listening to loud punk rock music...

it's been a while
it's been a little bit since i left my last message but oh well i don't really care what you think. i celebrated my birthday on friday since that was the day of when i was born (it was a monday the 13th in 1989 and not a friday the 13th so thank god). i went to see "cold mountain" and i think it really showed what it was like for the women of the war at home. really a great movie. so see it if you haven't

my arms are gonna fall off
well yesterday in gym class we played this game called gator ball and everytime the opposing team would score a point, we would have to do 15 push-ups. i think in all we did over 200 push ups.this morning i woke up and couldn't bend my arms! man they really hurt. good thing we had school off today or i would be in big trouble right now

icefest 2004
it was a chilly day today. we all went out to the icefest in chambersburg to see all of the sculptures out on the street. pretty neat. good thing it wasn't too cold out or else we wouldn't have been able to go. it's pretty neat what all you can do with a chainsaw and a big block of frozen distilled water...

deep freeze
it's been really cold (like wind chills in the negatives). it never stays this cold for so long around here. it's just not natural. i mean it's not even going to get above freezing until next week! geez. county band rehearsal was today and another one and the concert is tomorrow. the director is soooo funny! a truly amazing person....

jazz band
well i had jazz band today and we sounded better than usual. mr. forney said that we played birdland the best that he's heard so far. that's a good comment in our case. we've been kind of rusty these past few rehearsals and i think we've sounded better as we go along. i mean that's what's supposed to happen right?
