My life would easily be described as a means to an end. Now why would I put such a gloomy demeanor on my existence? Well, that is why you are here. To find out who I am and what makes me tick. Or perhaps you were here cause you were hoping for some pictures of a cool guy. Sorry to disappoint you.

Well. Back to me. I like talking about me. I have redone this section of my website over and over trying to get it perfect. Perhaps I was trying too hard. Upon searching the net, I believe the best way for me to describe myself would be through mindless facts.

When and where were you born?: I was born in June of 1983. I am a Gemini. A pure Gemini. Very Crazy. I was born in California. A place that until recent years was cool. About 45 minutes from everything. Southern California.

Favorite color: Blue/Black/Turquoise. At least that is what it used to be.

Favorite type of music: Grunge would be my first answer to that. I like listening to Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins, Tool, A Perfect Circle, The Cure, Queens of the Stone Age, Nine Inch Nails, Marilyn Manson, Alanis Morissette, The Beatles, The Foo Fighters, Incubus, Led Zepplin, Pink Floyd, Queen, The White Stripes, and so on and so forth. Basically, I listen to alot of music. Music is a very big portion of my life. When I listen to a song, it becomes my anthem. My own music to the life video. I play guitar, and I used to be really good at it. Lately I've been rather blocked as far as inspiration.

Style of Clothing: Hmm. This is an easy one. Blue jeans and a t-shirt consist of my days. On occasion (or whenever I feel the look) I dress in all black, slightly Goth/Freak. For the most part, however, I am grunge.

What's your favorite scent? Why do you like it?: Hmmm...hard one. I like butter cream very much. Sandalwood, teriyaki, vanilla is okay. As for why, I just like them! Oh, fruity smells are very intoxicating as well. (And I love the smell of marijuana, don't ask why!)

Do you have any piercings or tattoos? Where are they?: I DO! First off, I do alot of my own piercings. I have an 18 gauge small bar in my left upper cartilage, a 2 gauge bullet in my left lobe (it used to be a 00 gauge tunnel, but that is long gone now...) I also sport a nifty 12 gauge tongue bar, and I used to have a badass 18 gauge left eyebrow piercing self done with a 14 gauge needle. As for tattoos, I have one on my back. Its basically an outline of the cover of Nirvana: In Utero.

Name one of your favorite books. Why do you like it?: Phantom of the Opera. It is a wonderful book as long as you get a good translation of it. Alice in Wonderland. I haven't read it all the way through, but I know I will like it when I do. I like a few other off-name books, but those are the important ones.

All-time favorite movies. Why do you like them?: Hard one! Star Wars was a good favorite for a long time. Specifically Return of the Jedi. Recently I would lean towards Pulp Fiction, Happy Gilmore, American Beauty, The Back to the Future Trilogy, and Memento. Why? Star Wars is fun and magical. Pulp Fiction was amazing in its weird truth. Happy Gilmore is funny as hell, and I can watch it over and over again. American Beauty was so moving. Also very truthful. Back to the Future is very logical and dramatic. It makes me feel like I can make a difference. Memento has a great actor in it (Guy Pierce) and is very shocking in it's subtlety.

What role do you play in your family?: Scapegoat.

What countries have you visited? What was your favorite?: Countries! haha. Actually only been to one other besides America. It was Japan. And Japan was the best place I could imagine being. I would go back in a heartbeat. The people are so nice its shocking. The smoking/drinking age is 20, cigarettes are in vending machines (as well as the beer) and the city is so colorful and amazing. As far as other places I have been, I grew up in California. Lived in Florida for 6 months when I was in 3rd grade, have visited Ohio, Nevada, Lived in Arizona for about 6 months, been to Georgia...and I think that is about it.

Describe a meal you like to prepare.: MMMM! Teriyaki Chicken and Rice. Calrose Rice. I also like making steak. Any kind of steak, any kind of flavor, tell me and I will tell you how to make it perfect. Steak is my thing. It runs in my family. I can just do it right. Perfect.

Morning person or night owl?: Do I even need to answer this? Night Owl. "...we only come out and night, the days are much too bright, we only come out at night..." -Smashing Pumpkins

Three suitcases or one carry-on?: One carryon, however, that carryon will weigh as much as the three suitcases combined. I pack tightly.

Make your bed or leave it messy?: Well, Its just going to get messy again, so why make it? Not to say that I leave it a complete mess, I DO kinda straighten it out, just not formally.

Glass half-empty or half-full?: It's half-empty, now fill that sucker up so I can drink it!

Admit your favorite guilty pleasure.: I know I will get in trouble for this one...CHEESECAKE! I swear, if there is one thing better than sex, it is a deliciously made cheesecake. But it has to be perfect. Where it just hits the tongue and just melts. You get that sensuous cheese flavor, then a little bite of sweetness, then the fruit. Screw chocolate, you get some cherry, blueberry, or strawberry on that sucker. Yum. I can't imagine much better. As far as food goes anyways. :)

Name five things you can't live without.: 1) I need a guitar. It is what I do. I cannot speak my emotion, but my fingers can express it on those 6 strings. 2) Music. This would involve Nirvana. 3) Journal....I do keep journals. I have since I was 16. It has been my release. I hope someday someone can read them all and make sense of me. 4) This list is getting hard. Um...how about that cheesecake...... 5) I guess this would have to be a last but not least thing. Rachel. My Wife.

If you could bring back any deceased musician for one concert, who would it be?: If it isn't obvious enough yet: Kurt Cobain. Boy would I love to watch that guy play his heart out in person.

What are your secret talents?: :) I guess I will spill them. I can sing. Really, when I am in the car, and no one is around, I can sing pretty much anything. I have a great voice. No one will ever hear it though, I am WAY too shy to ever sing in person. I can also do very good art. I have to apply myself though. Which I never do. I am very practical too. But I don't think that it counts.

Tell me about the person who has most influenced your life.: A few people. I have alot of personalities, and different people inspire me in different ways. My Great-Grandfather Lester. He isn't with us anymore. He (unknowingly) has influenced my life in many ways. He was HIM. He never tried to be anyone besides himself. He was a smart man. A fighter. He was practical, and he had hobbies. I loved him. I regret the many moments that I could have seen him again, and didn't. I regret not being there when I could have been. I never went to the funeral. I regret that as well. He influenced me to be myself. Another influence is Kurt Cobain. Though dead, and somewhat distant. He taught me that I can have a shitty voice and a fucked up guitar, and still push emotion through. To be so honest that people love and hate you. To understand my place. To be smart, involved, and most importantly, emotional.

Do you ever talk to yourself out loud? What do you talk about?: I do pizza delivery. This involves alot of time to myself to talk. I ramble. I really do. I just sort of talk to people that I pass by. Carry on conversations that could have been. I say stuff that I wish I could say at the time. I yell at my boss, and retarded customers. Not to them, but to myself. When I drive. :)

I wish there was more to say about me. I suppose I will keep adding to this list whenever I see questions that could reveal an aspect of me that someone might be interested in.
