Player’s Note: I heard about this from both Will and Robert, whom Will informed before he talked to me. Robert maintained that the redcap was killed by intentionally looking the basilisk in the eye. While this is true, he was merely turned to stone and brought back by the crowing of a rooster, only to later be killed by a manticore. Que sera sera. As far as my character knows, this footnote reads “Redcap didn’t come back,” but for the record I had a great laugh at the whole basilisk affair. We’re short a loon now. I fear being targeted by the Storyteller for replacement loon status. I’m totally getting one of my party members to clip my wings…((signs “Why a loon?”)) I need to stop talking to Will outside of games, because I just wind up with a burning curiosity.
