Whether you are a highly skilled pastry chef wanting to sharpen your talents, or just want to learn how to properly decorate cakes, the Watchung Arts Center has a class for you!  Entertaining and highly educational decorating courses are offered by talented cake artist Elena Shumskaya.  Her outstanding works are well known under the name “Elena’s Cakes & More…” and have been seen throughout the states.  Her background includes culinary and art related fields, pastry chef, designer and instructor in various places including the famous Le Cirque 2000.    

Classes include Course A, which takes place on Wednesday evenings, beginning on February 20^th from 7:00 – 9:00PM and is titled “Cake Decorating for the Home and Business”.  This course covers everything you need to know about cake decorating.  Course B takes place on Mondays and Tuesdays beginning February 18th from 7:00 – 9:00PM and is titled “Learning the Fine Art of Cake Decorating”.  This course is best suited for the person who wants to learn methods to create a truly unique, state-of-the-art cake.  PRE-REGISTRATION is necessary and can be arranged by calling Elena at (908) 822-0313.  All cake decorating classes take place at the Watchung Arts Center, 18 Stirling Road, Watchung, NJ
