The
solo CD features twelve original songs by the talented
new singer songwriter Richard Gilpin. Originally from
Belfast he has lived in Convoy for the past three years.
On this very professional first album, recorded at Silver
Hill Studios in Maghera, Co. Derry, Richard is joined
by a host of musicians from throughout Ireland and beyond,
including ex Wings Guitarist Henry McCullough, Tyrone
Fiddle Player Cathal Hayden, and Letterkenny's own Ted
Ponsonby.
The CD is a blend of acoustic rock, country, blues and
traditional Irish music. Producers of this fantastic
first are Richard Gilpin and James Devlin. It was mixed
by Rory Donaghy at Blastfurnace studio, Derry and mastered
by Robyn Robins at Mid Atlantic Digital, Enniskillen.
