This doesn't seem to be entirely true, does it? I don't know how much more much music I could actually listen to...

Last year I managed to get in quite a lot of performances of different kinds, but this year it seems to be a dry spell. I need suggestions. The only things I've found so far are:
Angie Stone. Was in January, I couldn't find anyone to go with...or maybe not. Feel like it, J? :)
Henrik Schyffert. He's going on tour soon I think. Anyone wanna come with me?
Roskilde. I want to go every year, but I always run out of money...or friends.
It seems like all I've done lately is complain and talk about diseases like some old lady, so I thought I'd steal an idea I found in a friend's blog....just for fun...
I didn't get to the festival until the first band on my list was over, so I decided to go for my wild card instead, which turned out to be a hit. I loved it! It hurt me to leave, but I had to. I'd promised to go with a friend to see her fav. band, which didn't turn out to be as bad as I'd expected ;) (You know I like you, M) Except for the rain at the end. But after standing in it for half an hour you barely noticed it any longer, and I just kept going. After a while (after the show) we went to get the keys to friend's place, where I'm staying, and then I told her that I had to get some warm food before I froze to death, so we headed in the direction of the food stands. But before we got there, she saw someone she recognized: the singer in "her" band was walking around, so of course there were pictures and autographs, and she was smiling brighter than the sun. We got the food and kinda listened to Iggy, but since he wasn't singing The passanger we left to check out Timbuk instead. I don't know if it was because I was standing too far back, or if I don't like the new album or if it was too much Mapei action, but it just wasn't the same... I was just about to leave when he finally played my fav song. We walked around some more, and then went to check my other wild card, which was pretty good. Not a lot of people though, since The bloody Ark were playing at the same time. Listened to a couple of songs, and then headed for the Ark and the food stands before going back to her room (and my stuff). I think I had to show ID in almost every bar (except for one) I went into. Yay for me! I'm still young! :)
I took that about feeling good back for a couple of hours when I had to go to the place in the woods, perverts, strange smells, and people talking baby talk... but luckily we were let out early so I had time to arrange for a lunch meeting with a friend (no more falafels!) The lunch ended up being an icecream, which suited me just fine. After some chores, we headed down town again and I accidentally ended up doing some shopping. We then tried to listen to some bands (or singers/song writers rather), but the rain started to pour down, so we went back to her place (with her angrily jumping in every puddle on the way) and listened to a demo she'd made. I've never heard her sing before but I was impressed. She show me her new outfits, and it hit me how lucky I am to have such diverse friends. They are all different, and they all have something different to bring to the table. Some people just have friends that are all the same, which probably doesn't help them grow as much as my friends do. I just hope that I can give them something back... Anyway, we prepared the food, and two more girls stopped by. We all brought different ingredients, and made a pick and mix sallad buffé. After trying (and failing) to force our hostess to at least have some wine, we went down town (again) and met up with another girl and watched the show.
(Thanks for the pics E!)
