Memories pt. 2
Mood:  d'oh
Now Playing: Kula shaker
Topic: Everyday life
Remember the guy at the grocery store? I saw him today again. Went to have lunch with my mum, and the first person I see at the lunch place is him. What's he still doing here?? And of course I had to sit at a table facing him just 'cause it was messy food day. Well, well...maybe I'll stop hiding if I see him enough times.

The spa-thingy was great, thanks L! ...except for the orange thingy. One of the things she put on my face she told me could be a bit strong. I smelled it when she was on my forehead, then when she put it on my nose I couldn't breathe. And I always have these weird thoughts when I'm laying there, just like being in the head of Carolina Gynning.

Run Forrest run!

Interesting day. The bus was late so I had to get off about five stops early and run to the nearest stop for the other bus I had to change to. And when we got there all the middle aged people, I'm gonna have to spend my life with were really moody, even worse than me, and that's not easy. But I stayed calm and just read my book, suitably titled "Bitterfittan". Then they told us that we had to pay for lunch this time (definitely not worth the money), and then they told us some good news, and then it was time to go home again. But since the next bus was two hours away I managed to get a very nice man to give me a ride, and then the waiting started. four hours before my meeting, and nowhere to go and nothing to do. Tried on some clothes in the stupid we-only-carry-size-Small-stores before finally giving up and went and bought a news paper AND a magazine and went to my fav. coffee place and had a quiet me-time. But still I'd rather sit there by myself than being stuck in the middle of nowhere with some very bitter people. Then finally, time for my meeting. Waited, waited and waited before some woman asked me if I had an appointment and I said that I did. She asked me with whom and then went to find her. The lady then came back and told me that the other woman that I had the meeting with had said that it was cancelled and "someone" was supposed to have told me. But maybe that's for the best, I don't think that it'd been a happy meeting anyway.

Zzzleepy...
Mood:  d'oh
Topic: Everyday life
Couldn't sleep at all last night and then I had to get up before dawn to go and do my thing. Were on my feet all day, didn't get more than fifteen minutes rest. Back home where it was being prepaired for a party. Food and drinks, but I actually did taste the red wine and it wasn't bad at all even though I don't really like red wine.

Paaaartyyy-y!
Mood:  party time!
Topic: Everyday life
A bit complicated before as usual, but at least I did get a table, and asked around for cabs. Seven people turned into eleven turned into six. And for a short while eight. But still I had a really good time (almost one time even). The restaurant was more crowded than expected which is fun, I thought we'd be there by our selves. My friend and I got a drink before we had time to order the food (thanks B!). The food wasn't that good (I probably should have ordered something else), but the bottle of wine that I for some reason decided that we should have and the Bailey's afterwards was good, and so was the company :) The waiters then added and exotic touch when we had no idea what so ever what he was talking about, but I guess that's an everyday thing since the waitress didn't seem that impressed with him either. When the place closed we went next door to a little pub, where by pure luck they sold Hot Shots really cheap, and then we were bought more drinks meanwhile listening to our dear friend's conversations (one of them were sober and driving some teenager around. Not too happy I think) before we were finally out of lies and let our driver-friend take us home.

Oprah's wrong!
Mood:  sharp
Topic: Tv
I remember watching Oprah once and her saying that when you're in your 20s you care about everyone's opinion, but as you turn 40 and 50 all that changes and you just don't care anymore. That's completely wrong! Just watching my mum and her friends makes me wonder how the heck I'm gonna be when I get older. All they seem to do is talk about each other behin their backs, they ignore each other completely and change their personalities and likes and dislikes everytime they meet a new partner, and they constantly care about what everyone's gonna think if they leave the house without make-up etc.  I couldn't care less...even though I probably should...

Party!
Mood:  celebratory
Topic: Everyday life
Today was the day for my relatives to come over and get some food and coffee and stuff.  I was a lot smoother than it's been during the past year's celebrations. I tried to make the house look presentable and then went to the store. Some people couldn't make it so we all managed to sit in the same room, at the same table for once which was really nice. The sarnies was better than expected and I've gotten a great mix of gift certificates and personal stuff. I'm happy.
