The past week has been tough, mentally and physically. I'm hoping next week will be better. I need some breathing room right now, but there is none. I don't have time to break down, I'll have to schedule that for sometime next year...

I had to take the bus this morning, which gave me time for a morning walk. I decided to give my mind a challeged and tried to use all my senses to register what I saw. I noticed the details that are typical for this season, I felt the cold and the wind and tasted (this was the hardest...) ...mostly toothpaste actually...

I know that I haven't been that talkative lately, but that's good. I have no complaints. Life's up and it's down. All I needed today to turn that frown upside down was some sunshine and a good challenge... that I mastered.

It was nice to go on a visit to reality again. I haven't had a lot of those lately. And seeing JenJen doesn't count! Friday's need for a nite out died out fast, but just visiting a friend and having hot coco while wearing normal clothes feels great! ...even though I still don't really talk to her man, even though they've been together forever, I just say "hi" and that's it. I have no idea why it's so hard to start a conversation with him...

It's so great to be around happy people! As I just said I met up with CeCe and E today. E has a lovely boy...fiancé, and they just moved into a beautiful house. It feels strangely grown-up, but I'm just so happy for her.

 ...which is a strange feeling for me, sort of, I'm so done with people being negative and jealous.

I'm two weeks in on my diet, I reached my weekly goal, and then some, but now I'm back where I started again. Why do I do that to myself? Why do I desperately need to sabotage myself all the time? I have the will power when it comes to everything else...and I am aware of what I am doing, on some level at least...
