This has been a good day. We didn't leave too early, we had to make a couple of stops to get rid of snow from under the car, but we had time. We even had time for the police, stopping us under the bridge next to the highway exit. We made it there, in time, said hello to some people and found out that we weren't actually staying there. Boy, were we glad we had a ride and didn't have to carry our stuff all over the city. We got lunch (a gigant bowl of soup, really good soup) and had some intresting conversations. Then a gigant coffee break buffe and more discussions. Then off to a restaurant for dinner. What we thought were entrees turned to be out the main course (mini spring rolls and some kind of lentil thing....and white wine, that did not go with the food). Unfortunately we had to skip the feature for the night to check in. They'd forgotten to schedule that in. We got a cab back to the venue and has a xider before trying to find an open shop (B forgot his BIG bag of toiletries). Went into a sports bar of some kind, had a beer and some Walkers, before getting into a cab and having them driving us to the store.

I'm lying here in bed listening to/watching one of my old favourite bands, feeling nostalgic. Remembering how much fun we had back then. Trying to remember fun things I've done in the last five years, and I come up with...nothing! Scary! It's not that I haven't had any fun at all, just nothing worth remembering for years to come. Or maybe it's just because I'm so zen, and into the moment. Nah, probably not. I'm just not into my life right now. I'm not diggin' it. The only one that can actually do something about it is me, but I don't know where to begin. What it all boils down to is one thing; money. And that is a factor that feels kind of out of my control right now...even though I'm sure it's not. Everyone else is making it work (as Tim Gunn would say), rite? Then why can't I?    

I don't mean to sound all sentimental, it's more like stated facts that I needed to get out of my system.  Thanks for listening.

I finally had the time to see my friend E for the first time in over three months today. I had a really good time, even though I probably talked her to death, as usual ;) I've really missed seeing other people and having a decent coffee!

The second quiet, non-nightmare-ish night in row. I needed that. I actually managed to gather my thoughts and become more effective today.

Another night that started with nightmares.

It was actually nice to have a meeting with someone fairly reasonable, who even gave me some new ideas.

Then I had to head into town and I actually sort of enjoyed having lunch by myself. Just me and a newspaper. I really need a break! The meeting lasted about an hour and then I went home again. It was really good to have some extra time, and I decided to spend it with my friends. I haven't even had time to see A since she got here! The kids have grown. I haven't had time to see them either. I really enjoyed just sitting down, having a laugh.  

When I got back home put on my sweats and did some cleaning, even that, cleaning up is a luxury now.

I have a lot more energy now than I did earlier in the week. I'm ready for the over-booked next week, but I don't know if it's because the coffeecokewinecaffeinatedsodawineredbull I've been drinking lately ;) I'd forgotten how good Red Bull actually tastes. 

Yesterday went well, except for the over-tanned man with the microphone...but what can you do..?  :)

I'm thinking of closing down this blog and start over. This time in Swedish. With more personal stuff, thoughts and ideas, no only what I had for lunch. Something that I'll only update when I actually have something to say. And it should be up and running by...April 1st...no no, May 1st!
