Week 32-ish

Aug 2 - Woke up at 7, then slept for most of the day. Went for a walk in the rain with the cousin in the evening.

Aug 3 - Woke up early, slept all day. Didn't get up until I had to start baking and putting all my stuff away for the repair men...people...

Aug 4 - I'm tired before it's even started. Slow day at work. No bathroom, no instead of bathroom. Very dirty 3rd and 4th alternatives. Watched half a movie before the DVD-player decided to stop working. Went over to the neighbours for a while...hours...

Aug 5 - Just lovely to get dressed in the dark, walk down to dark basement just to pee. Boss asked if we had to stop working (for good) on Friday or if we could stay. Then we got a visit from a man, reminded me of Peter as an old man (Here I come, G!) with his sailor's hat and pink umbrella...but apparently he had some mental problems ;) Then my meanie-friend L rang me and tricked me :P

Aug 6 - Stomach ache all morning. Late for work. Met the friendly man with the dog on the bus though. Took a longer lunch and ate at a restaurant, and saw something nice in purple. Purple is such a nice colour, don't you think? :) In the afternoon some old co-workers walked by, saw me, smirked but didn't say 'hi'. And it wasn't just me, my present co-worker saw it too! Listened to a radio show about one of my favs, it turned out that we've attended the same school at almost the same time. When I finally came home from work, I was greeted by a man wearing old boxer shorts and rubber boots and nothing else. I was so horrified that I just ran away and didn't come back home until late that evening. Then had to sleep with the loudest fan ever in the background.

Aug 7 - Sloow day at work. Had to pick tiles for the bathroom when I got home. We got to choose between grey and beige. Very uplifting colours. Really.

Aug 8 - The day started off on a good note...overslept (turned off the alarm and went back to sleep), and opened up the umbrella indoors. Then we got to clean the boiler room at work...before they gave us cake and sent us home. Then I was supposed to help my aunt move...but I fell asleep...

Aug 9 - Had planned on doing nothing all weekend (except move, which I didn't do) but instead I ended up having a real fun with my friends. Went to the mall with my dear CeCe, and accidentally bought a top and some earrings and stuff. But don't worry friends, I still got lots more shopping to do. Felt a bit guilty for not being as much fun as I probably should have been though, sorry C. Afterwards we went to another friend for a crayfish party. At the end of the evening there had been, at least, 27 people coming and going out of my friend's one bedroom apartment. Came home and read the news. Didn't know that people in these parts of the world still died from pneumonia...

Aug 10 - Was supposed to help auntie, but accidentally fell asleep again. Stayed in bed most of the day until I had to get up and do some cleaning and then went to dinner...lunch..something...with the bestest cousin ever :)

July 27 - Had a late lunch with friends.

July 28 - Not a good day at work. Fell asleep and got woken up by a text from my friends. Ended up at a BBQ and then in a lake. Haven't been swimming outdoors for years! Got a summer-y feeling for the first time in months.

July 29 - Lazy at work again. Felt guilty for a while. but then I went with my cousin to see my other cousins and their kids for another BBQ. A glass of red wine and lots of yummy food! I wish I could see them during more relaxed times like these, andnot just when we're stressed :)

July 30 - Still slow at work. Or at least I am. Stupidly I tried to do some errands during lunch. I shouldn't have. Tourists everywhere and even the pan flute indians. I almost thought I was in Stockholm. Discovered that I've gotten some blisters from the sun. And rashes on my legs. Soo beyond Ä-räka! After work, I finally got to see my dear A and her bf, and play with my hair. Failed at everything!  Discovered that my phone can't spell "tvål" or "flöjt", but it does recognise "delikat".

July 31 - Woke up with the phone in my hand. No alarm set. Was about 7 min late for work. Boss complained. About everything. All day. BUT I got to see the movie, and my fav. old man was even there.

Aug 1 (!) - Never been as fed up with work as I was when I was waiting for the bus this morning, but that quickly changed. The boss actually told me that he was happy with my work and that I seemed interested in what we were doing. Had lunch with a co-worker and her husband, and then a coffee as well, after that we only had an hour of work left :) 

It's gonna be a busy weekend. Hopefully I'll get a lot done. Like the laudry, before they take the washer away :(

The girls did the BBQ while the boys stayed in the kitchen, making the salad.

July 24 - Painted a fence and went around to some stores with the cousin. Definitely bought more crap than I counted on, but since I'm apparently not going to pay any taxes...*sigh* Tried a really tasty "Sea roll" for dinner and texted my mum, who seems to have a great time with boys, food and adventures.

July 25 - Another friend going to the stupid place I wanted to visit. Got some crazy idea and decided to get off the bus a lot earlier than usual and walk to work. At least the sun was shining. Demanded to get an (paid) hour off work and convinced a co-worker to come with for take away-lattes in the park. Felt a bit guilty for the only co-worker who actually worked this week, but I'll just harder next week I guess :) Almost felt a bit civilized for a while, talking to a relative on the phone and ordering the fancy coffee. We were late back and slipped in the back a pretended to have been working in fancy shoes and with a handbag the entire time. The boss found us pretty quickly though and gave up and told us we could go home if we just finished what we were doing...hehe...who said being lazy didn't pay off? Went to the booze place, which quickly became expensive. Also discovered that my phone knows how to spell Pekka, but not Sandra. 

July 26 - Went to my dear friend L and played with her daughter in the pool. Discovered that the laundry room is full all the way through September. Who the h...eck plans their washing months in advance?? Went to lunch with an old friend and ran into another old friend :D  Discovered that my phone knows how to spell "slumpmässig" but not "kanin".

Golf anyone...T? :)

July 21 - Three people at work. Plus one. Head ache all day. Pretty cool anyway, got to go inside and clean the place. If I had any respect left before, it's pretty much gone now after seeing all the "Behind the scene"-stuff. Thunder and lightening and crap. Fell asleep watching an old re-run of Queer as Folk.

July 22 - Even managed to look at and even say "hi" to the bus driver that everyone though (thinks) was sooo cute. He's ooold now, hehe! Listened to the radio, as usual, but the co-host this week sounds like Moneybrother on drugs, what's he on?? Cool day at work though. Until I got back home and got the notice that I'm gonna be woken up every friggin' day of my holiday, when it starts. And the laundromat's full too...for the next two months...dammit! I just hope it won't end up like my friend A's bathroom..!!

July 23 - It started off with the flower pot lady in the morning (before 8 am), which wasn't so bad, I've dealt with worse. But then I got texts from a friend. I have no friends. The only thing I wanted to do this summer, and asked about for months, they go and do without even asking me! Asshole! Then I had to go and trim the bushes, and by that I mean just that, in the gardening original meaning, but of course the stupid machine broke down after a while, and I assumed it was just me and gave up. Got a stearn look from my boss and a loud sigh from my poor collegue who had to continue what I had started. It turned out that the machine really was broken, it wasn't just me. I really need to work on my confidence at work. That's what's seperating me from the kids, confidence. I used to have more of that when I was younger too... I still do, but not in situations like these... Then I worked my tail off doing the weed thing instead, but still we got complaints from our boss. Dammit!

The weekend in bed hasn't really work out so far. Got a text from a friend this morning and we went out for coffee (fell in love with a pair of white shoes on the way, but when do I ever wear white..??). Then we took a long walk to a store and  then we've looked at stuff on YouTube, and tomorrow's Sunday which means that I have to do a lot of boring stuff...

July 14 - Zzzleepy. Actually feel asleep at the table during lunch. An okay day at work. Got an extra two weeks at work as well. Kept trying to remember who the guy at the bar was. He said "You don't remember me, do you?" "Of course I do" was my reply and I did. He was soooo familiar, but I just can remember exactly who he is. Dammit!

July 15 - Slow day. Forgot to bring my lunch. Got another week of work. Got through the day with the help of some fun texts. Came home. Did some house work, but suddenly forgot how to make salad. I actually had to ask my mum. I really think I need some sleep! Scary...

July 16 - Work. Went for a walk with the cousin. Feel asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow...or maybe a bit before.

July 17 - Tried to get one of my co-workers to talk (veeery shy) by first stealing his paint brush. Not a word. Stole his chair. Nothing! Seem to have been chosen as the office spy as well. No thanks. Went to the movies. Lots of people, but I like being there. Watched the movie, and even managed to stay awake through the entire thing! Back home.

July 18 - Ate loads of ice cream and got to go home early. I am going to stay in bed as much as possible during the weekend and do nothing.  

My mum bought me a nice ham- and cheese pie-thingy so that I wouldn't have to make lunch. Wasn't that nice of her? :D

Week 28

July 9 - Slow day at work until I got a surprise visit from an old friend. I was so happy to see her that I just jumped up and hugged her and I don't do that often. Then had more fun after work, shopping and having coffee (iced tea) with a friend while my dear cousin patiently waited for hours, just to drive me home.

July 10 - Went to hand in some papers and ran into "those people", wasn't as annoyed as expected though... Coffee after work with a friend, we sat at the coffee place until they closed, and then I headed off to the movies with the cousin. The only guy there, smart move couz, all the girlies to yourself! Lots of people, promised to help out next week. Came home tired but happy. Found a letter and broke down for a minute...

July 11 -  Not happy at all when I woke, still a bit upset  but managed to gather myself and get into the car with a smile on my face. Kinda disturbing when I have to concentrate on the weekend though. Went home after lunch to catch up on some sleep before the weekend begins. Relaxed a bit too much though, and was more sleepy that anything else when my friend came over, but got myself together and went over to "granny" with some other friends and had some Xiders. Then went on an...exciting car ride to the pub/bar/tent. We were alone there, which was fine until it was beginning to rain like...nothing I've seen before so we ran up to the other bar...which was busy like...lots of people. We were wet but I had fun...even though some people left early ;) Laughted with my friend like we haven't done in yeeears, it was just like having the teen-version of her back...aaah, the memories...

July 12 - Went to play minigolf with the kids, but as soon as we'd left the house it started to poor down and we went back home. The day at the beach became golf which became...not much. Decided to rent a movie in the eveing since the weather was crap. Watched the movie, played some cards and then my dear friend offered to go with me to another friend's house, just so that I wouldn't have to walk all the way home alone. When there we were offered xider and shots. Oops! Suddenly we were on our way to the bar/tent, how did that happen?? :) Ended up staying there until they closed (almost).

July 13 - Went to the torturing the baby-thing, in my new uncomfortable clothes. Fun! 

...but where did the weekend go? Is it really Sunday already??
