Topic: Everyday life

June 27 - What? Who? Me? Tired? Just because I didn't notice the car stranded in the middle of the enclosed pasture? The girl walking past pointed it out to me. Think I kinda snaped at a girl at work a bit more than I planned on.

June 28 -  Got up early to clean the house and and pack up all my belongings before I went to the music festival to see my dear friend M. I realised while waiting for the bus that I'm a bit too old for these things; the other kids brought beer and their skateboards. I brought extra clothes in case I get wet and sensible shoes. Ended up having really fun though. We had lunch and some drinks before heading in and watching some bands.  Drank wine, ate langos and acted silly. Yours truely was the last one standing when it was over and I could have stayed there for an hour or so more if that had been the case :)

June 29 - Stayed in bed most of the day...until I met up with F to return the key. Discovered that the word recognition thingy on the mobile knows how to spell "sacco" but not "ape". Thought about the Ben&Jerry's ice cream stand at the festival for a while.

July 1 - We got the papers for our first months pay and we're not getting fully paid. Dammit! I'll probably have to cancel my vaccation. My body, head and spirit is broken at the moment. I have a cold.  And of course I continued the day by stepping on the handsfree/radio antenna, so now it's gonna be quiet during the days...and when I went to buy some new shampoo it was ridiculously expensive. Bought some other crap instead of my regular brand. But after some visits from the neighbours and other friends I still fall asleep smiling.

July 2 - Spent all day painting, then took a walk. Stupid cold! Too tired to do anything useful at home. Where did Princess E go? I used to wear short skirts and heels, and read fashion mags. My friends laughed when I told them I was going to do anything outdoorsy...or even go outside the door. Now I'm always dirty, "playing" in the mud with worms and ants and kids yell things after me because I'm so dirty, and then I go home and read some lad mags.

My "sister" trying to use to the hula hoop (@ my aunt's house).

Mia trying to keep track of all her things.

They're coming to Pride, I wish I could go. I'm gonna miss all the things I wanna see this year: Kylie, Salem (@ Liseberg), Colbie, Roskilde (as if I'd go anyway), Peace and Love (Thu/Fri) and Linkin Park (even though they actually cancelled).

Week (25) 26
Mood:  lazy
Topic: Everyday life

June 21 - Watched a really good movie and just relaxed. For once.

June 22 - Watched some cool music on morning-telly and really started to think about going to the music festival anyway. Went to see some very non-talkative friends, then went over to my grandparents for a while and then to my aunt. Where did all the weekend time go??

June 23 - Work went by fast. And quietly.

June 24 - Finally found a ticket for the festival. Thanks A...and mum (for trying)! I don't believe that it's gonna rain on Saturday, and that's that! :P Also got invited to another fun event today, what to wear...what to give?? Went to the shopping center, lots of cute festival boys, kinda sad that I don't get to go until Saturday. It was kinda zen to spend an entire week in festival land

June 25 - Had coffee (ice tea) with a friend. I haven't seen her in ages and it was really good to see her again! We talked for a while and then I left to go around and around with my dear cousin. Probably wasn't that much fun though since my stomach had been hurting since lunch. That's what I get for trying to get into a normal healthy eating regime.

June 26 - Called in sick for the first hours of work and stayed home and slept. Stupid stomach! Eventually went to work. Lots of people going to the festival now.

My friends eating their hung-over food.

I just couldn't help pointing out to the poor man that it was spelt wrong.

Grandpa

My new friend Hubert.

Found this car outside the burgerplace ;)

Summary Week 25

June 16 - The day went by fast at work today. Good.

June 17 - Asked a co-worker what we're actually getting paid, and I've never had such a low salary before. I've cut down on my pay (per hour) with a third! Then during the coffee break an ex-bf of a friend stopped by and I didn't know how to behave, 'cause I don't know if he even knows who I am, so we all just sat there in silence. Awkward. But at least the sun was shining and the radio was playing hip hop.

June 18 - Had to sign the official working contract. The pay's actually even worse than I thought. I don't think that I'm better than other people and deserve more, but I don't feel like I'm that bad and deserve that much less either. Felt a bit annoyed and like it's all a step in the wrong direction for a while but then I came back home and met a smiling friend on the street and got a surprise dinner from my cousin. Went for that W-day walk (not as much fun any longer).

June 19 - Think I almost got some kind of recognition at work at least. Had lunch and a prayer with my co-workers and then headed home to a friend. She'd made a strawberry cake. She's spoiling me ;) Talked her head off and rang my dear cousin to get a ride from the store, met up with my mum who bought food for 100 euros and headed home.

June 20 - Midsummer's eve! Stayed in bed and watched a movie during breakfast. Fun movie! Went over to a neighbour, and then to see people looking stupid jumping around the May pole. Finally home to a friend of my mum's for some BBQ.

What's wrong in this picture?

Thanks L!  :)

Drunk people get bad ideas...

What the he...ck were they thinking?? We might as well move to China now! I knew that the politicians weren't very useful, but I didn't know that they were such big cowards!

Summary week 24
Mood:  lazy
Topic: Everyday life

A short summary of the last week...and some days since I online last:

June 4 - Spent most of the day cleaning my stupid apartment, flat whatever you wanna call it...even missed out on my Wednesday afternoon walk.

June 5 - Went and watched my friend U graduate school and then went to her house for cake.

June 6 - Happy birthday Sweden! Lots of things to do. Had a BBQ with some friends in the evening before hitting the "beer tent".

June 7 - Had a picknick with my dear friend J and watched the canoes pass by. Another "beer tent" in the evening. Mosquito bites and sun burns everywhere. Stupid mosquitos.

June 8 - Tired. Played miniature golf with some friends.

June 9 - First day at work. I'm definitely the oldest...and weirdest there. Very traditional work place, theboysdo the typically "manly" chores and we play with the flowers.

June 10 - "One step forward and two steps back", as Paula so nicely put it. When it comes to bonding with co-workers that is.

June 11 - Raining.

June 12 - Still rain. But I did try to drive the "thing", whatever it's called. For several meters.

June 13 - FRIDAY the 13th. Still raining. Felt old and a bit humiliated...before I realized that she was in the same position almost.  Annoying afternoon.

U on the truck singing

E's working the BBQ

J and M doing their usual camera moves

F and S golfing

F celebrating his victory

The house on the w-day walk. If I ever live in this town, it's gonna be here!

"I can see clearly now, the rain is gone..."

I read about the big crisis of Björn cacelling his gigs and the Peace & Love Festival cancelling their comedic because no one could replace him. There's lot of other great comedians in our country! Young and old...er, men and women. People like Josefine Bornebush, Annika Andersson, Soran Ismail, Magnus Betner...even though I'm sure if they all do Stand-Up, but if they don't I'm willing to sit down too dammit!
