On our way
Mood:  chatty
Now Playing: Dansband
Topic: On tour

The thing with old people is that they seem to live for coffee even more than we live for our lattes.  Even though it's a two (three if you're going by bus) hour ride you just have to stop for coffee along the way. At the rest stop I see this couple with young kids who stand out somehow. It's not like they're wearing a sign but more of a feeling, and you just know that they're not from around there. They're on their way out of the city for the holidays. Then I feel slightly jealous of them for living in the City and starting to feel nostalgic. Especially after talking to an old acquintance about his adventures in the City. Finally we arrive. Get our tickets and board (with mum stopping to hug the spiky haired oranged tanned band of course). Time for dinner! We're placed with two older (retired) gentlemen and mum spends the entire dinner speaking to one of them while I, and the other man, concentrate on our food. Ouch! I try to eat some but give up, and concentrate on drinking my water. Back to our room to get dressed, or slutty in my case in a desperate attempt to feel cheerful although my tooth seem to be digging it's way half way to China by now. We go back and forth between her band and dancing (her, not me!) and my friend's future husband doing Elvis-ish.

World's smallest Rondabout dogs in Västerås?

Mum's friends on the bus.

Mum's partying all by her lonesome on the bus.

Welcome to Stockholm! (snow!)

Civilisation. At last!

Waiting for our room. With a P2.

Mum is having soo much fun listening to the Elvis-guy.

...it's so difficult to find a fitting job... Title: "Webskribent, finska"

"Danska och svenska flytande i tal och skrift är ett krav. Vi ser även att du behärska engelska." Same same?

Fashionista?
Mood:  cheeky
Topic: Everyday life

There's been this debate about people/young women making lots of money just by having blogs about fashion, so I thought I'd give it a shot as well...

Today's theme: Fjortis (14 y o)/ Age inappropriate.

Shoes/sneakers from Din Sko with the miserable girl on the side. Jeans that Maria probably told me to buy, with the pant legs tucked into my pink/orange/turquoise socks (from Penneys probably). Velvety black hoodie from Cubus and a big knitted magenta colored scarf from Penneys. Turquoise martiniglass-shaped earrings from Maria and a dash of Paris perfume (the heartshaped bottle...of course).

Comfortable rating: 3,5 out of 5. The colors are fun and cheerful. Your pant legs never get wet when they're tucked in. The scarf's a bit out of place when it's 5 degrees C out, and it gets VERY warm, and the rubber bands around the feet aren't that comfy really.

So...when can I expect the freebies to start arriving..?

And of course she has to complain about it in the paper... I really hope that you're getting paid, Linda, and that you're saving that money to buy yourself a brain. You're on step away from being Linda Rosing, one step!

Nightmares
Mood:  special
Now Playing: Moby - Porcelain
Topic: Bad News
Kept waking up and falling asleep again all night, and I had that nightmare that I have somethimes when I'm stressed...but worse. This time it was tiny porcelain people (and animals), who kept jumping from somewhere up high by the dozen and I had to catch them before they hit the ground, but it was impossible. There were too many. Then I tried to put them back together again, but the pieces were just too small. Tiny little fragments of porcelain people.
