Sunday already
Mood:  lazy
Topic: On tour
As I've said before, time flies when you're having a good time. Stayed in bed with the computer for way too long. Then finally got up and had some breakfast. We're really starting to act like an old married couple now, walking around in silence preparing our food. Met up with my working buddy and headed to her dog, which just happened to be right beside the camping site. Scary thing to see, most people were already gone, but some people stayed, sitting (or sleeping) in a mountain of trash. Picked up the dog, and headed for the mall. Had some junk food, and bought some stuff I can't afford. Since we were so late, they decided to give me a ride home, and I fell asleep (in the car) sooner than you can say "Spraxhya".

null

Stupid new blog functions. Apparently, what I've written has been shortened down to "null". Thanks a lot Angelfire!!

I said that the only good thing about using a laptop is probably that you can use it while still in bed...

Evening at the festival
Mood:  smelly
Now Playing: Lots and lots and lots
Topic: Music

I didn't get to the festival until the first band on my list was over, so I decided to go for my wild card instead, which turned out to be a hit. I loved it! It hurt me to leave, but I had to. I'd promised to go with a friend to see her fav. band, which didn't turn out to be as bad as I'd expected ;) (You know I like you, M) Except for the rain at the end. But after standing in it for half an hour you barely noticed it any longer, and I just kept going. After a while (after the show) we went to get the keys to friend's place, where I'm staying, and then I told her that I had to get some warm food before I froze to death, so we headed in the direction of the food stands. But before we got there, she saw someone she recognized: the singer in "her" band was walking around, so of course there were pictures and autographs, and she was smiling brighter than the sun. We got the food and kinda listened to Iggy, but since he wasn't singing The passanger we left to check out Timbuk instead. I don't know if it was because I was standing too far back, or if I don't like the new album or if it was too much Mapei action, but it just wasn't the same... I was just about to leave when he finally played my fav song. We walked around some more, and then went to check my other wild card, which was pretty good. Not a lot of people though, since The bloody Ark were playing at the same time. Listened to a couple of songs, and then headed for the Ark and the food stands before going back to her room (and my stuff). I think I had to show ID in almost every bar (except for one) I went into. Yay for me! I'm still young! :)

The next generation
Mood:  surprised
Topic: Everyday life
So. My mum decided that I needed some "real" food before I left and we went out for lunch. When we're sitting in the restaurant two young boys walk in, barely old enough to read the menu, and sit down. Instead of greeting them and handing them the menus, the waiter asks them if he can help them with anything, and they say that they want to order. The entire time they're polite, say "thanks" and even walk outside when they're on the phone. Which is more than you can say for the other people there. The tourists complain, and I'm on the phone. At my table. Still they get treated worse than the others. I still remember being a kid and being really pissed off because no one took me seriously.

Mood:  cheeky
Now Playing: Leno
Topic: Tv

I was just watching Leno, and Cedric the entertainer was on, talking about the new inventions taking away from what could have been great leaders of tomorrow. He used MLK as an example: What would have happened if they had had ipods back then? - Hey man, Rosa Parks got thrown off the bus!! - Huh? I was listening to the latest Motown... At least I think it's funny. Middle of the night funny. And maybe even worth a thought or two...

Crappy Fridays
Mood:  don't ask
Now Playing: Nothing. Absolutely nothing.
Topic: Everyday life

When I get yet another one of those "Get to know you" thingies in the mailbox, I usually put down Friday as my fav day of the week. Not this week though. Stayed up most of the night with a weird stomach ache, and my meds forgotten at my friend's house. Took me about three hours to get out of bed, and then I had to hurry to pay the bills (when does it ever end??), and send away the stuff I sold on E-bay. Ran home to pack my bag, and be force-fed (apparently you CAN starve to death in one day, or so she says). Just one little minor Detail left. A Little Detail that just didn't have time for me until he knew it was too late. I'm not going to blame the Detail for everything (any more), the Little Detail is usually a good Detail to me. But this is probably one of the not the best sides that the Detail and some of his friends possess. Anyway, here I am. Not there. Missing lots. The things I missed yesterday got great reviews so I'm sure the things I miss today will as well...

"Home"
Mood:  happy
Topic: Everyday life
It feels kinda nice to be back home again. To be able go gather yourself. To walk down the streets that you know inside and out again. But still feeling the festive mood of the town, seeing people, hearing the noise and feeling like you belong there, you've earned your right to be there.
