Wing wizard Neil McCann joined from Hearts for £1.6 million in December 1998 and his
pace and trickery has made him a popular player with team-mates and fans alike.
Neil’s best performance in a Rangers jersey came in May 1999 when he scored twice in a 3-0 win over Celtic at Parkhead on the day Dick Advocaat won his first SPL title with the club. He’s also a regular starter for Scotland and defences the length and breadth of the country fear his speed and mazy runs down the left wing.
Ironically Glasgow rivals Celtic were once keen on his services, but after spells at Dundee and Hearts, he elected to join Dick Advocaat’s Rangers revolution.
New boss Alex McLeish is also a big fan of the player.
