Andy Dowie bowed out of the under-18 set up in style last season by captaining his side to the league and cup double.
Now under the guidance of John McGregor in the 21s great things are expected from the towering central defender both for Rangers and Scotland.
Dowie, who was an Ibrox season ticket holder before signing for the Club on an S-Form, is seen as one of the hottest prospects in the youth ranks and is looking to extend his good run of form into the new season.
Alex McLeish handed the youngster his debut against Dunfermline at East End Park on the final day of the 2001/02 campaign and Dowie looked comfortable alongside the other top team stars.
In the months to come Andy will be looking to build on his one and only first team appearance and hopefully fight his way into the manager’s plans on a more regular basis.
