French fullback Jerome Bonnissel joined Gers during the transfer window in January 2003 until the end of the season and the former Bordeaux star is keen to secure a permanent deal with the Club.
The 29-year-old started his career with his hometown club Montpellier and spent three seasons in Spain’s star-studded La Liga with Deportivo La Coruna.
Jerome returned to Bordeaux in 1999 and Rangers supporters will be happy to learn he’s already been a victor at Parkhead as he was part of the Girondins side that knocked Martin O’Neill’s side out of the UEFA Cup in 2000/2001.
Bonnissel, who has six caps for his country to date, impressed during the winter training trip in Dubai made his Light Blue debut in the 2-1 win over Aberdeen on Feb 1, 2003 and he’ll provide cover for Dutch ace Arthur Numan.
