St.Mary's Catholic Church

Also known as "Cathedral in the Country"

St. Mary's Catholic Church located in Beaverville, Illinois was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1996. Early French Canadian families began building this church in 1909. Over the years it came into disrepair. The church community(about 120 families) with help from others started repairing the church to its original beauty.
