Step by Step Instructions :

PREPARATION IS MOST IMPORTANT :
The CARE taken to prepare the hole is a 'MAJOR FACTOR' in the ULTIMATE SUCCESS of a TRANSPLANTED TREE

DIG THE HOLE APPROX : 20% LARGER
than the ROOT BALL
a FEW INCHES DEEPER
Remove any / all rocks

Prepare the soil :
Adjust for CLAY, SAND, LEDGE,
With peat moss, top soil, sand, fertilizer, etc.

MIX LOAM (SOIL) and PEAT MOSS
We also add a Root Stimulator
with PHOSPHORUS  (Brand name " Roots ")
(INCREASES amount of Root Development)

PLACE the TREE In the Hole CAREFULLY
approx: 1/2 inch higher than prior level
FILL HALFWAY with the ADJUSTED SOIL MIXTURE

COMPACT the Soil :
ELIMINATE ALL AIR POCKETS
Fold down or cut burlap
REMOVE ALL PLASTICS  !

ADD WATER and REMAINING SOIL MIXTURE
Compact the soil
ELIMINATE ALL AIR POCKETS
Create a BASIN or SAUCER

ADD several inches of QUALITY MULCH
Fill BASIN with Water again

 WATER       WATER 
TWICE DAILY for FIRST week,
ONCE A DAY the second week
SOAK IT WELL !

TALLER TRANSPLANTS   WILL REQUIRE STAKING
Using :  Wooden poles, rubber hose and guy wires
