CHAPTER 5
"You and Me together"
Alsie had been sleeping only for 2 hours, when she suddenly woke up. She just couldn't understand why she had woke up, but the one thing she knew - she didn't wanna sleep at all. "It's really really weird! - she thought - I was so tired today!" She turned TV & clicked some channels...but there was nothing interesting! A little bit later she decided to go to kitchen and have a cup of hot tea. "Maybe it'll help me to fall asleep!" - she thought, wearing a dressing-gown.
Nick wasn't sleeping too... Firstly he played video games with Brian, but when Brian went to bed, Nick went to bed also. He actually wasn't managed to sleep & it was something new for him, cause he was known as the best "sleepyhead" in the group. Actually he couldn't close his eyes at all, though he was very tired. A little bit later he decided to play the computer once again, he thought it'd help him to feel himself tired much more & make him go to bed. But he was wrong! After a second level of the game, he had the feeling that he was eager of having a cup of tea... That's why he left the room quietly & headed to the kitchen.
"What are you doing here?" - asked Nick surprised, staring at Alsie.
"Hey Nick! I see you have an insomnia also!" - Alsie tried her voice to sound calm, while her heart was pounding like crazy. Yeah... That's was very weird...She and Nick were alone on the kitchen while everybody was sleeping... Yeah... Maybe it's fate?
"Ha! Yep! Can't sleep at all!" - nodded Nick and sat on the chair near the table. He was glad for having Alsie as a company this night, even during a "cup-of-tea" time. It's was weird she wasn't sleeping this time... Maybe it's fate?
"Wanna cup of tea, or maybe coffee?" - asked Alsie, making tea for herself.
"You wanna serve me after all I've done to you?" - laughed Nick.
"Nick Carter, you don't deserve it anyway... - she laughed back - I'm just trying to be polite!"
"Cool! Well... Then... I think a cup of tea and a chocolate cake!"
"I'm sorry, Mr. Carter! But there's no sweets at all here!" - Alsie gave him a cup, with a funny smile. Yes, he's definitely big big "sweetslover"! How sweet!
"What??? No sweets? At all?" - Nick did an offending grimace.
"Yep. Definitely!" - Alsie was drinking her tea, sitting opposite Nick.
"What would you say if I offered you to have a walk to the nearest cookery!" - he smiled at her mischievously, after five minutes while they were keeping silence, drinking their tea.
"Nick! It's 3am now! Do you really think that something's open now?" - Alsie looked at him with a sarcastic glance.
"Well...Let's say I know one place which is open round the clock!" - Nick responded.
"I donno! And what'll happen if anybody wake up? - Alsie asked Nick seriously - They'll find out that we're outta house and then we'll get into trouble once again!"
"I don't think somebody has a sleeplessness also as well... - was reasoning Nick - But just tell me the truth if you wanna that candy sweet pastries with strawberry, chocolate and fruit cover!" - teased her Nick.
"Nick Carter are you teasing me? - laughed Alsie. Then after a while she said - Okay... Anyway I'm in need of fresh air, maybe it'll help me to fall asleep!"
"Okay, I give you five minutes for dressing!" - said Nick eating a sandwich.
"What? 5 minutes? And that's all?"
"C'mon Als! Nobody'll see you on the streets! It's dark and everybody I believe is sleeping now!"
"Yeah? And what about you?" - she joked. Nick was close to choke with his sandwich.He couldn't believe she asked him about that. Wow... she's really incredible! He thought for a while, but then answered.
"Well... For me, actually, there's no matter how do you look like, cause you look perfectly in all, and I believe, without all also."
"Ah - there was Alsie's turn to choke. She just joked... well he did it back, and very very witty! He was looking at her now with his self-satisfied but charming smile. She waited for a while and then answered - Okay, Nick! I'll be back in a few minutes!" - she left the kitchen.
Nick laughed out loud when she'd left!
"I can't even move my hand!" - laughed Alsie. They were walking down the street and joking at each other.
"There was no reason to eat so much candies!" - answered Nick.
"But you've ate more!" - laughed back Alsie.
"Well... My stomach is bigger, actually!"
They were wearing both in jeans & looked so cool and happy.
"Well. Alsie! Where would you wanna go?" - asked Nick suddenly.
"We're gonna somewhere? In that time?" - Alsie was astonished.
"It's a pity we haven't an ocean here. I wish I could take you there with me, on the beach"
"Yep. But what do you say if I asked you to sit a little beat on that bench. My stomach is full of all that candies and sweets! I have ate too much for me today!"
"Okay!" - they sat on the bench in a quite long park, near theirs villa.
They talked about everything on this earth, including theirs personal stuff (I mean love, theirs ex- and so on). With every minute each of them understood that he/she had a lot in common with the person sitting opposite him/her. They were almost in love with each other...and it seemed to them that they'd known each other all theirs lives..
"Well, I had to go away, actually! - Nick told - She wasn't that kinda person I have been seeking for all my life... I understand it only now... after 2 years passed..."
"I think, that she wasn't that kinda person you need either. - said Alsie - You are one of the greatest guys I've ver known, and actually, my best friend! If she was here, I'd probably strangle her!" - laughed Alsie.
"Well, I'd do the same with your, what's his name, ah yes... Mike Sinclair! He didn't deserve such a girl like you... though... jeez.. sometimes you make me crazy either!" - he laughed back.
"I learned it from you, my best tutor in a crazy stuff! - said Alsie with her beautiful smile - And by the way I'm gonna study your manners of making fun at people and make them mad also as well."
"Well... You'll be my visual example of that stuff!" - joked Nick.
"You are incredible, like always!" - laughed Alsie.
For a minute they just was looking at each other eyes. There's kinda atmosphere between them like they were a sweetheart couple. In some way it was, actually, so. At least each of them felt it, had such a feeling.
"Als... Haven't you ever wanted to kiss me?" - suddenly asked her Nick seriously looking in her eyes.
"What? Well... I donno... - firstly she wanted to joke, but then she changed her mind, cause of Nick's eyes. They were so sad, beautiful, hopeful and very very baby-looking. That made her feel herself like being on the trial if she'd say a joke or a lie... She definitely loved Nick...She loved him from the first moment she saw him< but she understood that only now. Then why did she have to hide all her feelings, when Nick (vice versa) showed them - Yes, Nick I always wanted to kiss you... God... I can't believe I've confessed it!" - she rolled her eyes & laughed. After that she felt herself being a stupid dumb girl.
Nick felt himself like being the happiest man on earth when she had said it. He was afraid of her answer... And now he could breathe freely. Alsie looked so confused but so beautiful. The wind touched her light brown hair and the moon reflected in her brown eyes... Nick knew that he'd give anything for that eyes... He touched her chin very tenderly with his strong, thin fingers... God, she had such a soft and a tender skin, like a silk... She looked at him and he saw all her heart in her eyes, all her feelings... Alsie touched his silk hair, that she loved most of all and began to run her fingers over his hair... Nick got closed to her and very very carefully touched her lips with his... Her lips were so warm and teasing... He felt the smell of an ocean... She opened her lips and slowly touched his lips with her little tongue... Then he kissed her with all the feeling, the passion he had... His breathe was so fresh, that Alsie enjoyed every moment of that greatest kiss... Nick was definitely damn good at it...
There's no time for them at all. In that moment they revealed all theirs feelings and love to each other. All night long they just kissed and hugged, like being a childish schoolmates, but feelings filled them so much, that they did it instinctively... Nick told her such a beautiful words, that sometimes it got her in doubt, cause it was too good to be the truth... But then Alsie decided to listen to her heart...And it told her that Nick's words were a pure truth, and Alsie trusted in him... Nick had never ever had that feeling of comfort and the need of giving protection to somebody. He felt that Alsie needed him, his love and his protection... He was enjoyed by her so much, that he actually forgot about the time...When the first ray of sun touched theirs eyes, at last Nick and Alsie realized that they had to go home...
"Good night, sweetie!" - said Nick when they were standing near the door of Alsie and Rima's room.
"To be correct... Good morning, Nick and sweet dreams!" - trying to be funny said Alsie.
"Yeah... You are right... Anyway... I'm glad I have you, Als! You are the best girl I've ever known" - said Nick with a loving smile. He wanted to tell about his feelings, but then changed his mind, cause thought it was too quickly for her, probably.
"Nick you are the best guy I've ever met in my life... Thanks for all!" - she smiled at him & kissed him on his cheek. She didn't want to do more, cause it was too quickly for her. Firstly she had to realize her feelings... Yeah, there was no another way to be together... Each of them had to realize and feel his own feelings to prove in it.
When her door closed, Nick felt himself very happy, but a little bit empty... Hi didn't understand some thing or maybe he just didn't realize it... Well... Anyway... he's gonna be with Alsie... "And damn. That's cool!" - thought Nick.
