CHAPTER 4
"From hate to love just one step"
"I'll kill them? How could they? God!" - Donna Wright was goin' to tear guys into pieces.
She knew them from the very beginning & she hated a stuff like this. Never ever something like that happened before...But there was such a situation, when once Nick & Brian were late for the concert & appeared on the stage after the second song. Kevin then was close to kill them just right on the stage, in front of fans. And Donna knew, that after the concert, a "couple-double" (she called Nick & Brian that) had a very serious conversation with Kevin & later with Howie. Well... Okay... She didn't deny that "Couple-Double" (CD) could do that at this time once again, they were actually kinda "childish guys" she thought, but she couldn't even imagine that Kev & Howie could do the same.She walked down the room here & there, nervously checking the time... and thinking about guys! She really was disappointed and worried about them!
"Yep! You can go! All hall is clear! - Howie caught his breath - Gals, do it first!"
Lanie, Nicky & Rima were the first. They didn't think even for a while, just caught theirs breath too & ran up to theirs rooms. As soon as they locked up the doors, somebody's steps were heard on the stair.
"Oh my God! It's almost 6pm. Where are they? - asked Fatima very very sadly - Donna's gonna kill them. But I'll do the same, I swear, Swoop!"
"Calm down, Fatima! I'm sure, they'll be back in a few minutes!" - tried to sound very convincingly Swoop, a cute mulatto with great abs and complexion. They stood up there a little & then headed somewhere!
"We're all in a big big ass.." - said AJ, laughing with a sorrow.
"Shut up, AJ! - responded Nick - Okay, gals... GO!" - he said to Alsie, Amy, Monie,Mela and Lisa. They didn't need to hear it twice. Alsie ran first, then Amy with Monika and then - Mela and Lisa. "BOYS" caught theirs breathe again, when they'd heard that gals locked up the doors.
"Okay...now it's our order! - told Kev - Let's go!"- "Boys" started up just like being the fastest cars in the entire world. When they reached their common room, they opened it and ran into room in a crowd. They were pleased that nobody had noticed them, so laughing Kev turned on a switch and stood still.
"Hello, guys! I hope you had a great time..." - Donna gave them a false smile.
The rest of the "BOYS" stopped laughing & found out to theirs horror that in front of them was standing the manager of the group, and she was very very very angry & mad at them.
"How's my make-up?" - asked Rima Alsie with a trembling voice.
"That's okay! I told you that twenty times... But I'm still bother that Fatima doesn't talk to us! She must be offended!" - said Alsie with a thoughtful air.
"I believe she is! - responded Mela -We almost had let her down!"
"Yes! We should go and ask her to forgive us!" - offered Amy.
"We'll do... after a concert!" - nodded Alsie.
Suddenly Swoop entered room! The girls screamed of that unexpected invasion. There was like "Swoop, didn't your mom teach you to knock before your entering, especially girl's room? Yes... Or maybe you was born in a cave where there was no door?..." "Sorry! Sorry! Sorry girls! But now it's your entrance!" And then there was like "Oh.. my Gosh!" & all the gals hurried up to the stage.
They danced perfectly & Fatima was really proud of them. Really! And all the "Backstreet Team" was proud of them also as well. Firstly guys performed "All I have to give" (conversational part) and after that they did "As long as you love me". After theirs grateful speeches to fans they performed "Larger than Life". It was cool. And during all that song Alsie noticed that Nick was watching for her almost all the time! She smiled at him all the time. He smiled back too. Then there was a changing of costumes and so on... Alsie felt herself the happiest person alive on the earth when the last accords of "It's gotta be you" were sounded. That meant for her two things: first - she was so tired and now... a few minutes later she would be able to go to her room, take a shower, wash out make-up from her face and go to bed. And the second thing - she found out that Nick's not indifferent to her. He's got the feelings to her, damn, definitely! Today she had the opportunity to make sure in it & she did! She always knew that there was something between herself & Nick, but she wasn't sure if it was just what she was thinking about... Well... she smiled at him again! She decided that she was going to make her spell on him...(But frankly speaking there was no need in that... Nick was in kinda love with her at that time already, but Alsie didn't know that stuff.) He definitely gave her a sign, and it meant he has that feelings and, Alsie was more than pleased.
"Please, Fatima! Please! We are begging you... Forgive us! Please!" - Rima was acting like she really begging for something.
"Stop that, Rima! You don't deserve it!" - she asked seriously.
"But please or the nightmare will come to me that night..." - Alsie was a good actress either.
"I'll pray for his coming... maybe then you'll understand what I've had to go through..." - Fatima wasn't angry at girls at all, but she just wanted to torment them!
"Fatima Robinson! Will you forgive us at last? We 're asking you for the last time!" - said girls in choir.
"Okay...Okay... But I'm still a little bit offended at you all... And it'll finish only in the morning... So you better hurry up to your beds! - she laughed - Good night, dolls! Sweet dreams!"
"Cool! She called us "dolls"!" - screamed Rima. (She always called them so when she was in an excellent mood & that's why it was kinda a sign that Fatima wasn't being offended at them anymore.)
"Hey, Fatima, we just want you to know that we love you very much, really!" - Alsie kissed her on cheek.
"Hush! Hush! Barbie doll! See ya in the morning, girls!" - she smiled at them.
"It's cool when everybody lives in peace!" - said Lisa when the door closed after them.
"Yep! PEACE OUT!" - joked Nicky. Girls burst into laughter.
"Okay! See ya later, girls!" - Rima kissed Nicky, Lisa and the rest of girls on the cheek. Alsie did the same. While they were like "Goodnight Gals! Sweetest dreams!", Howie appeared in the door of his room. When girls came in theirs rooms, Howie beckoned Rima by his finger. She was like "I'll be gone till morning Als" and laughed out loud. Howie gave Alsie an "air kiss" Alsie smiled at them back with an understandable smile & headed to her room.
