CHAPTER 3
"It's gonna be funky"
A few minutes later everybody including 8 gals stood in the backyard.Then they headed to take a taxi to get to park. There were only 2 cars, that's why gals had to sit on guys' knees. When everybody got to park all of them felt themselves in an excellent mood. Partly that the taxi drives didn't recognize them, partly just from that thing they're gonna have alot of fun for today.
"No no... I don't want to "Castle"!" - said Alsie.
"C'mon Als! Show me you are brave! It'll be cool! I promise!" - Nick said laughing.
For not to attract the attention, all crowd divided into 3 groups. In the first group there were Kev, Nicky, Howie,Rima & Lanie. In the second group there were AJ, Amy, Monie & Lisa. And in the last group there were Nick, Alsie, Brian & Mela. They made an arrangement that they'd meet in the local "McDonalds" at 4:30pm. At that moment there was only 2pm.
"Nick Carter! Do you really think I'll agree to come to that horrible place?" - asked Alsie.
"100 %, Als!"
"Oh... Then you are wrong! I hate to be scared!"
"You won't, I swear! Anyway I'll protect you if something's wrong!"
"You will? Hahaha... I bet you'll leave me there alone and make fun at me!"
"You think I can do it with ya, sweetie?"
"I give you 100%. That's your fave stuff - to make fun at everybody!"
"Yep. At everybody, but not at you, girl!"
"Nick! Don't make me laugh! I don't believe you!"
"Als! You have to, cause anyway... you'll go there..."
"You think? Who can make me do it?"
"I can. Choose... Either you'll do it by yourself or I'll make you do it!"
"You are so cruel! Why do you want me to go in there?"
"I just want you to have some fun!"
"That's not funny!"
"You think so, cause you've never been there before! C'mon Als! You'll like it!" - He smiled at her by his charming & cute smile.
"I can't believe I'm doing this! - Alsie rolled her eyes - Okay, Nick! I'll go! But if you're gonna try to leave me there alone or to make fun at me, I'll kill you afterwards. You have my word!"
"I'll be waiting for it impatiently!" - laughed Nick.
"What?" - Alsie was shocked.
"Just kidding... Let's go! B-Roc are you goin' there?" - he asked his best friend.
"Are you nuts, guys! Don't you remember what happened with me in Germany?"
"And what happened?" - Alsie got interested.
Nick showed Brian by his lips not to tell anything about the "Castle of Terror" to Alsie. Brian got it & then said.
"You'll like it Alsie!"
"Really think so?" - she looked at Brian distrustfully.
"Yeah" - lied Brian with horror remembering how did he survive after that.
"So we gotta go, guys! - told Nick, looking at Brian & Melanie - See ya later near the exit of the castle"
Then he & Alsie came to "Castle's" entrance.
"Is it really so cool there?" - asked Mela.
"No! - wrinkled Brian - That's very very scaredy! Why do you think I didn't ask you to come there! I just care about you, Mels! I'm not so cruel as Nick is!" - he laughed.
"Nick!... Prankster! - laughed Mela - Poor Alsie!"
"Yes! I think so too! - agreed Brian - Anyway, Nick won't allow somebody to scare her too much. He just wants her to have fun!"
Inside the "Castle" was very dark & very scaredy. Alsie cursed Nick inside of her mind for allowing him to get her here. And when a black-dressed man with a scythe appeared & said something like "Go And Die" & then disappeared, she felt herself more badly. Nick was chuckling so that drove Alsie mad!
"Why are you laughing? Don't you see I feel myself bad in that place?" - Alsie was full of fear.
"Relax, Als....." - Nick touched her hand.
"Relax? - Alsie was close to choke with fear & anger to Nick. - I have never ever been so scared in my entire life and besides... - a strange sound interrupted her.- What's this?" - it sounded like a howl.
"I suppose ... wolves.." - Nick said laughing.
They walked down a huge dark hall with candles on the wall. Alsie wanted to save her proud that's why she didn't get closer to Nick, when she heard the sound. But she squeezed his hand stronger. Nick was close to laugh out loud...but he had controlled himself, cause it could offend Alsie.
"What? What's the hell?...- then she screamed & stopped of the shock.
The most ugly & unpleasant, scaredy creature appeared in front of her. It was so ugly & unusual that Alsie couldn't even give a name to that monster. Suddenly she had ran away & so quickly, that Nick lost her from view. "HUSH!" said monster angrily. "HUSH BACK!" said Nick & went away to find Alsie.
"Well...then let's go to the "Vertical Climb"?" - offered Howie.
"I'm not gonna" - Kev said.
"Why Train? It'll be cool!" - smiled Howie.
"I'm not really searching for strong sensations now!" - Kev sat at the bench.
"But I wanna go" - said blond Nicole (Nicky).
"Either do I - said Rima - I like the feeling of it!"
"I donno what about me... but I think I'll go as a demonstration of solidarity" - said red-haired and grey-eyed Lynise (Lanie).
"Well let's go gals...Kev's just afraid of..." - teased Howie.
"Kevin...I won't go if you don't go there too" - said Nicky, looking with the begging eyes at Kevin.
"I can't, Nicole. Sorry! I just... well...Actually I hate this." - Kevin looked down at the ground.
"Okay! We stay, guys! Go by yourself!" - Nicky tried to smile.
"Nicky you can go with them...You don't have to stay" - said Kev.
"No way. My place's near you, best buddy. Maybe some crazy gals are goin' to kidnap you while I'll be there" - joked Nicky. Kev gave her a grateful smile & laughed.
"Okay...We are leaving...Wait us here, okay?" - Howie said.
"Sure." - was Kev's answer.
He looked at Nicky & noticed a sorrow in her eyes, while she was watching at leaving couple & Lanie. He knew that later he would curse himself about what he's going to do but there's no another way.
"Wait! - he yelled to Howie, Lanie & Rima - We are going! I've changed my mind!" - He looked mysteriously at Nicky. She exclaimed like "Coolie!" & jumped outta bench. Kev stood up too & they headed to Howie, Lanie & Rima.
"I'll be your personal bodyguard there" - promised Nicky, smiling.
"At least I hope so" - answered Kevin.
"Okay gals. I'm ready to go to "Crazy Bench". I wonder, I supposed gals be scared of height, darkness and so on...But I see... You are all the exceptions to the rule!" - said AJ with a pessimistic smile.
"AJ! We are the exceptions to the rules in all relations! - laughed Amy. Sometimes she reminded a little mouse to AJ.- Didn't you know this?"
"AJ! Are you not full of hyper feelings and energy as always?" - asked Monica, a beautiful mulatto.
"I do I do, for sure! - answer AJ - Let's go to that damn "Bench", but I'm doing a great feat by going there with ya... After all of that side-shows... !" - smiled AJ & girls laughed.
"Stop! Hey guys, that girls are supervising us very attentively - said curly Lisa - I think they recognized you AJ." - she showed at 3 gals, standing near the fence.
"Really? If it is. They wouldn't just standing there..." - smiled AJ.
"They aren't. They are heading here." - whispered Amy with a horror at her face.
When girls came closer, Amy, Lisa and Monie made sorta of "live fence" for AJ. AJ heart's pumping like crazy.
"Hello! Girls! - said one of them - We can't understand Spanish at all, so we supposed you're Americans, yeah?"
"Yes, we are - answered Lisa, trying her voice to sound calm."Subtle tactic" thought AJ. He put up his baseball cap as down his face as it was possible, cursing God for sending that 3 & at the same time thanking God for Amanda (Amy), Monica (Monie) & Alisa (Lisa).
"So... Can you help us to find the way to the nearest toilet rooms?" - asked another one.
"We don't really know. But I think you should go and ask that policeman. I suppose he speaks English!" - answered Amanda.
"Oh... Thanks for helping!" - said one of them, staring at AJ.
"You are welcome!" - answered Amy.
Then all of a sudden one of them asked AJ.
"Hey and do you speak English?"
"He's deaf. He doesn't hear you" - lied quickly Monie & thanked God for the wit.
"And if he wouldn't be... What's from that?" - asked seriously Lisa.
"Nothing. Just wanna know something! He reminds me some guy...I don't know maybe that's his twin... Hey... - she suddenly stared at his silver rings on the right hand. Girls & AJ shuddered. - That's him! That's AJ Mclean! I swear!" - she cried.
"Run!" - cried Amy to AJ.
Instinctively AJ turned out & ran.One of girls broke through Amy, Monie & Lisa & ran after him. Everybody around them saw it & now they were staring at girls.
"Leave him alone" - cried Amy.
AJ ran as fast as he could."That girl is like a mountain, how does she manage to run so quick" he thought. He turned his head back and saw two more girls running after him. "Gosh, if I survive I'll do anything, anything one ask me to do! I swear!". AJ turned left & saw a big red kiosk there. There's no time for thinking, he ran into there & locked up the door.
"So...B-Roc, did you phone Leighanne?" - asked Mela, sitting on the bench & eating a vanilla ice-cream.
"Yes. Today I did it twice - he smiled - She's in New York now." - he was sitting near Melanie.
"Really? What is she doing there?"
"Just acting in a film. But soon she'll go back to L.A."
"Oh...I envy you love her so much! I wish I was loved so deeply and tenderly. It's so romantic! You have so great relationships, guys!"
"Yes. I think we have...And I hope we will...And I believe you'll meet that special guy somehow and be happy. You deserve it totally! - Brian smiled.Then he caught a sad glance of Mela. He tried to change the subject. - But anyway...what's the time?"
"Opps..It's 3:15pm right now...Where are Nick and Alsie?" - she asked Brian,winking.
"I donno... I just hope she isn't dead right now!" - laughed back Brian.
"Hey look! That's Nick!" - Mela showed at a worried Nick. He headed to them without Alsie.
"Hey...Where's Als?" - asked Brian laughing.
"I donno.. I hoped she came back here before me..." - Nick really looked worried.
"What? You wanna say you've lost her?" - Mela was shocked.
"Well...kinda it! - said Nick - We're going down the hall when that guy appeared. She screamed and ran... Well I actually lost her then..." - Nick threw up his hands.
"What guy?" - asked Brian, misunderstanding.
"Kinda monster I think. Such an ugly one."
"But what we're planning to do? Where should we look for Alsie?" - asked worried Mela.
"I think we must wait her here!" - said Nick.
"And I think we mustn't...she's coming!" - said Brian, smiling.
Pale, like a sheet of paper Alsie headed to them.
"Oh.. Nick Carter! I'm gonna kill you right now!" - said Alsie getting closer to him.
"Wait! Wait Alsie! I'll buy you a chocolate bar!" - joked he. She began to stretch out her hands for him, pretending that she's gonna strangle him.
"I don't need a chocolate bar! I want just to kill you Nickolas Gene Carter!" - singingly said Alsie.
"Wait wait! - yelled Nick, laughing, when her hands reached his neck - I'll buy you an ice cream!"
Brian and Melanie burst out laughing!
"Yeah? What kind of?" - was joking Alsie, making his neck tighten.
"And what do you want?" - laughed out loud Nick.
"I wanna double vanilla and cocoa ice-cream with a chocolate cover!" - pretending to be serious said Alsie.
"Okay...Okay... I'll buy it!" - Nick was laughing .
After his words Alsie suddenly got out her hands of him.
"Deal! Go and buy it!"
"Okay... - Nick was still laughing, just as Mel & Brian were. - But anyway...how it was...inside?"
"You're asking me? - stared at him Alsie - I was close to infarction all the time I was there"
"God! I remember..The same was with me in Germany!" - responded B-Roc.
"What? Why didn't you tell me?" - Alsie was indignant.
"Oh... I'm just...Ah..." - stumbled Brian.
"I see...I understand! Sure, you are Nick's best friend! What could I expect from you?" - she said with sarcastic smile - Well you will have to erase your fault from mind!"
"What? Am I guilty?" - asked Brian surprised.
"Sure you are! - laughed Alsie - You'll bye for me a big chocolate pastry!" - she said to him.
"I think you'll have to seat on diet after that" - laughed Mela.
"Well I won't cause I've lost such a great number of calories that I can eat three more pastries without any diet!" - joked Alsie.
"Okay! So... let's go to another side-show!" - offered Nick.
"I'm ready!" - responded Mela.
"Either am I" - added Brian.
"Only not with you - said Alsie - you'll kill me today I have a feeling of it!"
"What did I do?" - asked Nick suprised.
"Had left me alone!" - answered Alsie, laughing.
"Alsie you're incredible...After that you're talking to him..." - said smiling Mela.
"Yes...when he doesn't deserve it!" - confessed Alsie.
"Well... Let me remind you something... You ran outta me...I didn't leave you! Well...as a matter of fact... you had left me!" - drew conclusions Nick, laughing out loud.
"You are intolerable!" - laughed Alsie.
"Okay! Guys! Let's go...I'm eager to have fun!" - said Brian.
"I think I had fun too much for one day!" - said Alsie & everybody headed to "Colliding Cars" arguing & laughing out loud.
"Wow That was cool!" - said roaring with laughter Nicky.
"Did you like it girls?" - asked smiling Howie.
"Yep! I did! - said Lanie - but my head is still going round!" - she laughed.
"And I feel myself excellent! - said stretching herself Rima.
"Kevie, how are you?" - asked him smiling Howie.
"I'm Ok, I believe! - he signified to his words - I wonder guys, how can you enjoy yourself by such stuff?"
"I believe we are all here the lovers of strong sensations...of course except you..." - said Rima.
"Neither am I - responded Lynise - Just solidarity!"
"Well and if once we'll decide to kill ourselves ...I wonder you'll do the same?" - had a dig at her Howie.
"Get outta here! - laughed she - You too much in love with yourself to do it, Howie!"
"Right you are!" - nodded Howie.
"Well...What's the time by the way?" - asked Kev.
"By the way it's 3:40pm now" - answered Nicky, checking the watch.
"We should better hurry up..." - said Lanie.
"Yeah. We should, but now, actually, I wanna some "gummy bears"!" - exclaimed Howie.
"As always!" - Rima rolled her eyes.
"Go with Rimma and buy it...We'll be waiting for you at the next side-show!" - promised Nicky.
Then she & Lanie took Kev's hands & went away. Kev looked so funny, having a suffering grimace on his face, that Howie laughed out loud. Then they headed to the nearest kiosk. When they got there, Howie stretched his hand with the words "Two packs of "gummy bears, please", he's looking at Rima at that moment. Then he heard like "Howie, man! I would be glad to serve you but I can't". When Howie turned the head to his surprise he saw a smiling with a sorrow smile face of AJ in kiosk's window.
There was 4:35pm and everybody was sitting in the local "McDonalds", laughing out loud, eating, drinking & chatting. They asked for a private room, for not to attract the attention, cause the adventure with AJ....huh....That's was enough for all of them.
"And there was like "Can you show us the nearest toilet room?" - AJ imitated the voice of one of the girl - Tell me...That's how they needed a toilet...they ran after me like crazy, like they've never wanted to visit a toilet!" - everybody burst into laughter.
"No Really! - Amy signified to AJ - If somewhere, somehow I meet that gals once again, I'll kick theirs' ass'.
"Yeah. I was the damn most successful guy throughout the world, cause my bodygards-gals were there!" - said AJ, kissing Monie on her cheek.
"Well you shouldn't forget about that!" - advised him Monica. Everybody laughed.
"So... What's happened to you guys? - asked Howie - I believe you've spent a great time with that crazy hyper buddies!" - he showed at Brian and Nick.
"Oh Yeah! It was such a wonderful time!" - rolled eyes Alsie and gave a false smile.
"Did they do something wrong?" - asked Kev, shook his fist at Nick & Brian.
"Everything! - exclaimed Alsie. - Firstly he left me in "The Castle" alone in the dark with all of that ugly and stupid monsters..." - she knitted her brows.
"You really did so? - asked AJ. Nick nodded laughing - Give me five, Fracky!"
"Ah... One more accomplice!" - she looked at AJ, but then continued - Actually, that's not all... Then, on the cars they are both - she showed at Nick and Brian - tore into our car specially, for fun!" - she showed her tongue to them.
"Oh...Guys...Don't worry Als, I'll kick them ass' someday!" - promised Kev.
"Sneak!" - teased Alsie Nick. She smiled at him in satisfaction of what she'd done.
"Well...And what interesting from you, guys?" - asked Brian, glancing at Howie, Kev and all that group.
"We've done "Vertical Climb!" - boasted Nicky, smiling.
"Lying!" - exclaimed Brian.
"Not at all! We did really!" - responded Howie.
"I can't believe Kev did it! He hates that stuff! Did ya?" - asked Nick.
"I did it for Nicky!" - smiled Kev.
"Feelings... Feelings... - sang Brian. Everybody laughed.
"Not at all! - tried to protect Nicky - Ahh... Damn all of you!"
"Never mind, girl! - said Kev - We don't care! yep?"
Nicky nodded. She instinctively checked the time & jumped outta chair.
"It's 5:15pm now!" - she yelled.
"GEE!" - cried Alsie, Nick, Brian, Mela and Howie in one voice.
"She'll kill us!" - cried Rima.
"We'll be late for the concert!" - cried AJ, Lanie and Alisa.
Only Kev kept silence, when everybody tipped out all the emotions, he said in a calm voice.
"Ok! Everybody calm down! Let's go!"
In a few seconds there was nobody in the room.
