He stood at his car and watched a police officer ride by. 'Q' smiled, waved as the car continued by. He hopped into his car to go by the hotel Jer's friends were at, in hopes that he might see one of them.

Brawler sat on the bed in silence after she hung up the phone.
"Whats wrong??" Roe asked her. Brawler stood up and walked to the window, and lit a cigarette.
"Let me have one of those" Roe said, as Brawler handed her one.
"They saw him leaving his house, alone, around lunch time. HE had the gall to smile and wave at them." She said, putting out the cigarette, she no longer wanted. "Matt also wants us at Chris' house A.S.A.P.. HE said is was important. I feel like I am moving in slow motion." Brawler said as she ran a hand through her hair.
"I need to wash clothes. I really didn't think I would run out." Bardi said as she looked at the clothes in her suit case.
"You know, him being alone doesn't mean anything. They need to search the little shits house." Roe says, as she too puts out her cigarette. "God, I have never felt so trapped. I will forever hate Tampa now.

"The cops found a body over on Colonial, and they want you ladies to identify it. Chris said to the ladies, as he tried to hide his tears.
"I can't!" bardi says as she falls to her knees, about to pass out.
Matt puts himself behind her and hold her up. Bardi had started shaking, but not crying. She had been through too many deaths, and she was all cried out.
"Well, lets go." Roe said, as she ran out the door.
Brawler, Roe and Chris leave in silence to see if their friend had been murdered.
"Are you going to be ok?" Matt asks as he helps her to the couch.
Thinking what a stupid question he just asked, she responds. " She isn't dead." Bardi closes her eyes, and tries not to think.

The three walk silently into the cold building, expecting to see Jer laid out on a slab that was probably colder than the room. They were met with grim police officers that seemed to think they had found the missing woman.
Chris stared at the floor as they pulled the sheet from the face of the dead woman that was found a few hours before.
"It's not her." Roe said, putting the sheet back over the dead womans face.
"She's still out there!!" Brawler says as she runs from the room, and out to the car. Chris and Roe follow her and finally catch up with her at the car.
"There is no time to waste, she is out there.. Here, look, it is the braclet she was wearing when she was with us." Brawler says, as she holds up the braclet for the other two to see. " It was with the womans belongings. The person that killed her, has Jer. There is no telling what might happen if we don't find her soon." Brawler said with tears in her eyes.
"Maybe we should go after him ourselves." Chris says as he starts the car. "Roe, did you happen to see his license plate?"
"Yeah, the fuck knuckle about ran me over! I think it was George 3??" Roe says as she rolls down the window for fresh air.. She was feeling a little queezy.
Chris stops the car and starts to choke. "George 3?? Are you sure?? There is only one person I know of that has that on his plate, and that is my cousin Kevin." The girls look at him as if wanting him to say more.
"You think he could be the one??" Brawler asks him.
"Definately!! I will take you guys back to the house and then go by his house. I can settle this. I knew he was crazy, but i didn't think he would go this far." Chris said as he started to head towards the house.
"You're not dropping us anywhere. We pick up Bardi, and then we all head over to that house." Roe says in a matter of fact tone.
