Christi listened to her radio and sang to a Sting song as she pulled up into Matt's driveway. She stood beside her car, and noticed a young woman walking in the field near the house. Matt walked out to greet her, and noticed where she was looking.
"Who is that?" Christi asks, as she puts her arms around Matt.
"Rachel." Matt says, as he kisses Christi on the cheek.
"Your sister is here?? What made her want to come back?" Christi said in surprise.
"Her and Adam were having problems. More like Adam really. I guess she thought it was time to come home." Matt says with a shrug of his shoulders.
"Wow, Rach and Adam always seemed rock solid to me. If they don't make it, who will?" She said, as they walked into the house.
The phone rings as they reach the kitchen, and Christi answers it.
"Is Rachel around?" Adam asks, happy that someone finally answered the phone.
"Hi Adam." Christi says, and looks at Matt." She's here, somewhere. I just saw her outside." She motions to Matt to go outside and call Rachel to the phone.
Matt rushes outside and yells her name, but she has disapeared. Matt goes back into the house and takes the phone from Christi.
"Adam, I can't find her anywhere. I could have sworn we saw her outside." Matt says, and can hear Adam sigh.
"Can you tell her I called." Adam said, almost pleading with Matt.
"Sure, and I know you will hear this a thousand times...but..."Matt starts, but Adam interrupts.
"I know, I am a fucking idiot. I should have known better. I don't know why it all got to me. I've seen guys flirt with her, and it not bother me." Adam said with an even louder mournful sigh. He missed Rachel. "Today we have been together a year."
"I wonder if she realizes that." Matt asks him. "Sorry she isn't in here to talk to you."
"I am going to go torture myself some more by looking at her picture. Just tell her to call me." Adam says, as he hangs up the phone.
Jeff stands in the doorway looking at his brother on the phone. He walks out of the house, and knows exactly where his sister is hiding.

Jeff found Rachel laying in the wild brush next to the house. They used to go their to hide if they were in trouble when they were kids. Sometimes Rachel hid there just to get away from the world. She could only see the sky from there.
"I came here a lot after mom died and you left." Jeff said, as he laid next to his sister. He fluffed up the weeds where he had walked through, so he could be hidden better.
"I am so sorry about leaving. I was stupid for leaving Adam without talking to him some more too. I feel like such a coward." Rachel says, as she breaks one of the weeds and starts to play with it.
"It's ok Rach..I understand. You know, I can't stand being here sometimes. Sometimes moms presance is so strong here. Sometimes so strong, that I expect her to walk around the corner with that great big smile of hers. She would say, "EVERYTHING IS ALRIGHT", and then give me a big hug. And then...when I open my eyes..." Jeff stops and looks at Rachel with glistening eyes.
Rachel holds his hand and squeezes it.
They hear Matt calling Rachel's name again. Jeff starts to stand, but Rachel pulls him back down.
"Shhh, we are hiding." Rachel says laughing.
Jeff smiles at her for a moment and then asks."Have you been to moms grave??"
"No, not since the funeral. I don't know how I would react if I went back now. " Rachel says as she tickles his ear with the weeds.
"When you are ready, Matt and I will take you down there. No big hurry." Jeff says with a smile.
"Thanks sweetie." Rachel said as she kissed his cheek.
They lay there in the weeds until the night started to creep up on them.
"We better get back, or else they think we ran away." Rachel said with a chuckle.

Adam paced in his dressing room, as he waited for his match against Albert. Jay walked in and and started to watch Adam pace.
"Are you nervous?" Jay asked, as he tried to step in front of Adam to make him quit pacing.
"No." Adam said, as he bumped into Jay and stood still. "I'm pacing aren't I." He said, as he sat in a chair and started to bite his nails.
"You are going to kill Albert tonight are you? " Jay asks, as he puts on his wrestling gear.
Adam laughs and shakes his head. Albert was why he doubted Rachel, he thought. The thought of Albert made him queasy.
Chris walks in the room laughing and sits on the arm of Adam's chair.
"This girl asked me if the Hardyz were here, and I said no. The girl started to cry!!" Chris said in fits of laughter. "I had to give her a hug, and she cried even harder. I started to walk off, and she held onto my shirt and wouldn't let go. I started to drag her, and then she finally fell off!!"
The two other guys laugh along with him. Chris laughed so hard, he fell across Adam.
"Oh yeah, you fight Albert to night right?? Don't kill him." Chris says, pulling himself back off Adam.
Adam looks at both of the guys and starts to laugh again uncontrollably.

Michelle turned on the tv just in time to see Chris enter the ring. He was fighting Kurt Angle for one of the belts. Her phone rings, and she answers it, never taking her eyes off the tv.
"Hey." Mich, how are you doing?" Beth asks her.
"Watching Raw, Chris is on." Michelle says, as she munches on a prezel. "How do you think I am?"
"You're drooling." Beth laughs. " I think the boy likes you." She says to Michelle.
"Oh really, what makes you think that?"Michelle asks her. She did have her doubts. Ever since Jess broke up with him, he had been a little distant.
"Girl, open up your eyes will you!! Him and Jess broke up because of you. He didn't try to hard to get back with her. She could even see he liked you. She would watch you like a hawk when the three of you hung out together." Beth admits to Michelle.
"It sucks to know I was the cause of their demise, kind of, sort of." Michelle laughs. "You must talk to jeff about his?? I feel really bad now."
"Everyday." Beth laughs. "Look, don't feel bad about anything. They weren't meant to be. You and Chris were meant to be. Next time you see Chris, give him a big wet one on those lips of his." Beth says laughing.
"Is this a dare??" Michelle asks her, as she watches the match on tv.
"I not only dare you, I double dog dare you." Beth says, knowing Michelle can't pass up a dare.
"OK, i accept. What about you and Jeff? He calls you everyday??" Michelle asks.
"I have David, remember. There is that attraction to Jeff though. But, I have David."Beth says as she looks at her watch. "He's working late tonight." She says and sighs.
"Things change 'B'." Michelle says laughing.
"Yeah...go drool over Chris." She says laughing as they hang up.
Michelle watches the rest of Raw with thoughts of the dare staying fresh on her mind.

The match between Adam and Albert goes as planned until Adam gives Albert one hard punch, knocking the air out of Albert. Albert falls to the ground, and Adam wins with an unscripted win. Adam runs up the ramp, to the crowd cheering wildly. He turns around to the ring, to see Albert pulling himself up with the rope. Adam makes his way backstage, and almost runs into Vince McMahon.
"What was that?" Vince asked. "No getting personal out there, no matter what is going on in your life. If you have a beef with him, take it up outside of the ring."
"Sorry sir. It won't happen again." Adam says, looking at his feet.
"Go home." Vince says, and walks off.
Adam rushes to his dressing room, and Chris enters behind him.
"Adam!! What the hell was that!" Chris said, as he shut the door behind him. " Albert will be here soon, you know that. Then what?"
"He was there, Chris. He was just there." Adam said, as he stripped off his clothes and put some shorts on.
Albert pushed his way into the room, with Jay, Shane and Sean following him. Chris stood inbetween the two men, as he saw the furious expression on Alberts face. Adam and Albert stare at each other for a few tense minutes, and then Adam sits down in one of the chairs in the room.
"Son of a bitch, Adam. You don't go punching people for your own mistakes. You had a fight with Rachel, don't take it out on me." Albert yelled at him.
Adam just stared at him. "I am so confused.. I don't know what to think anymore. If she wanted me, she would have stayed and not ran." he said, and put his head in his hands.
"She ran out because she was hurt. That night, you really didn't give her a chance to talk. You should have heard her when she was drunk. She loves you, more than life I think. She got drunk over you." Matt says, as he quieted down.
"I mess up. How could I not trust her like that. I am so stupid. I am so sorry." Adam said with tears in his eyes.
"Tell her that." Jay says, as he sits next to his friend.
Adam stands up and starts to pace, but stops in front of Albert. "I'm sorry man. For everything." He takes Albert's hand, and the two shake. " I think I might try calling her again. I hope she isn't avoiding the phone."
Albert pats him on the back and leaves the room. "Get it together man." he says as he shuts the door.
The rest of the guys leave and Adam lays on the couch to gather his thoughts.

"OH MY GOD!!" Rachel yells, as she sees Adam punch Albert. She jumps up onto her feet, and drops popcorn on Christi and Matt's heads. "Oppps, sorry guys...but WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT??
Jeff starts laughing, as Matt starts to eat the popcorn out of Christi's hair. "Alberts going to kill him." Jeff says laughing.
"Thanks for the shower." Christi says, as she picks the pieces of popcorn off of Matt and eats them.
Rachel walks over to Jeff closer to the tv, and sits next to him with the bowl.
"Pig." He says, as he looks in the bowl.
Rachel points to Christi and Matt, who are eating the popcorn that had fallen around them.
Remembering Adams call, Matt tells Rachel." Adam called today, I tried to find you but couldn't." He tells Rachel.
"We were in our secret hiding place."Jeff says, and looks at Rachel.
"What? Where is that?" Christi asks them.
"It's in the..." Matt says, but Rachel and Jeff throw pillows at him to keep him quiet.
"It's our little secret.." Rachel laughs.
Matt laughs, and then continues talking to Rachel about Adam. " He loves you babe. He wouldn't have called if he didn't." HE says, as Rachel lays down and puts her head in Jeff's lap.
"But does he trust her though, I think that is the point here." Jeff says, as he starts to play with Rachel's hair.
"Yeah, does he trust me." Rachel says to Matt. "I am so confused."She says and yawns.
"Aren't we all little sister." Matt says, and winks at her.
Understanding him fully, she turns her attention back to the wrestling. Christians music had just started, and she wanted to watch him have another tantrum. Anything to get the subject off of Adam, and she would be greatful.
