I stood waiting with my dad for the guys.
“So, they’re nice guys?” Dad asked.
“Oh yeah! They’re so--” I started but I couldn’t finish. Nick was standing there looking sooo hot!! He was wearing a hat and sunglasses but I knew what he looked like in them so that didn’t distract me. I grinned. I ran up to him and grabbed his hand. Then I dragged him toward my dad. The rest of the guys gave each other looks before walking over. Howie extended his hand.
“Hello, sir,” he said shaking my dad’s hand. “I’m Howie.”
Kevin stepped forward, “I’m Kevin.” He shook my dad’s hand. This proceeded with AJ and Brian until only Nick was left.
“So, you’re Nick, huh?” Dad said to Nick.
“Yes, sir,” Nick shook Dad’s hand. He was obviously nervous.
“Table for seven?” A waiter walked up.
“Yes,” Dad followed the waiter and we all followed him. Nick gave me a nervous look.
“It’ll be fine,” I mouthed.
(IN THE MIDDLE OF DINNER)
“I’d have my bodyguard with her at all times when he’s not protecting me-- wait! I could get her her own bodyguard!” Nick was putting out suggestions quickly and frantically.
“Whoa! Calm down, Nick!” AJ said.
“I’d NEVER be alone Daddy! Honest!” I said with a little girlish smile.
“I don’t really like this whole thing but... you’ve convinced me. You can go Megan,” my dad said finally.
“Really?” I was trying hard not to scream for joy.
“Yes,” Dad forced a smile onto his mouth.
“This is so great!!!” I jumped up and hugged my dad. Nick grinned and the rest of the BSB smiled.
“You guys seem like responsible guys. I trust you to get my daughter back unharmed,” Dad looked at them all seriously.
“You can trust us Mr. O’Connor,” Howie said honestly.
“OK, is everyone done with their dinner?” I asked excitedly.
“Yeah, I think so,” Nick answered.
“How ‘bout we pay for the meal?” Kevin asked.
“Ok,” everyone agreed.
“Let’s go then!” Nick was getting hyper.”Ask if we can take you home,” he whispered to me.
“Dad, can the guys take me home?” I asked smiling sweetly.
“Ok, but I want you back by midnight.”
“Ok!” Nick and I left with the other guys.
