| Feather flower canes are a good way to use up left overs. Make the feather insert by stacking 3 or more color combinations. Take slice from the stack along the length and insert each slice in a block of solid color (or a mix). Reduce, cut in half, put halves together so that there are now six inserts (go counter clockwise through diagram on right). Continue this process until the feather looks right to you. Add to the cane as you wish. Carefully shape final cane.You can slice these thinly to make dangle beads.
