"Chrystyn, would you like to see my cabin?" Maeve asked, for lack of something better to do.
"Sure!" Chrystyn accepted happily. She thought, *Well, Rumina, how am I doing?*
*You're doing well. Just keep up the act and everything will work out. Don't forget your plan.* Rumina broke contact.
"...And here we are." Maeve opened the door of her cabin, and Chrystyn looked around.
"It's nice." Chrystyn commented.
"Thanks." Maeve brushed her flaming red hair back from her face.
"So Maeve, let's talk." Chrystyn sat down and Maeve followed her lead.
"About?"
"The wedding, of course, silly." Chrystyn's face lit up.
"Oh yes. What about it?" Maeve's smile was like a school-girl's, bright and ready to gossip.
"Well... how do you plan on wearing your hair?" Chrystyn decided to start out with someting simple to talk about.
"I don't know. You've always had such good fashion, I thought maybe you could figure something out." Maeve smiled at her old friend.
"Well, I was thinking if you pulled your hair back here..." Chrystyn turned Maeve around to face her mirror as she stood behind the redhead. She took a few strands of hair and braided little braids all over Maeve's head. Chrystyn then pulled the top lair of Maeve's thick hair into a ponytail, and brushed out what wasn't braided. She told Maeve, "We can put flowers in your hair around the veil. Look good?"
"Yes!" Maeve exclaimed. "I love it!"
"Good. Now where is this wedding going to be?" Chrystyn sat back down beside Maeve.
"On the deck of the Nomad." Maeve smiled.
"Ahh, that will be beautiful." Chrystyn shut her eyes and imagined it...
A cloudless sky was above, calm seas below. The sun was shining brightly, as if to give the happy couple a blessing. Sinbad stood on deck with Doubar, Firouz, and Rongar, all best men. The priest stood behind them. The crew and friends from the port sat in chairs set up on deck. They had found a long blue carpet from somewhere, and it was in between chairs serving as the aisle. Suddenly, someone started to play a flute and Chrystyn - Sadelah - walked down the aisle. Behind her was Maeve, who looked stunning. Sinbad's face broke into a huge smile as he saw her walk down the aisle. His eyes were full of love, and so were her's. As she joined her place next to Sinbad, they all turned to the priest.
He began, "Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today..." And so on and so forth. Finally, when he reached the part where he said, "If anyone objects to this marriage, let him speak now or forever hold his peace."
Everyone was silent and there was a little tension in the air. Maeve and Sinbad started to relax when no one said anything. The priest opened his mouth to go on, but shut it again when a figure appeared in the aisle. Rumina had misted into the ceremony.
People gasped, and shrank back in their seats. Maeve closed her eyes and prayed to Allah that this wasn't happening. But it was. Sinbad clenched his fists, angry at Rumina for spoiling his wedding day.
Rumina coyly walked up to Sinbad and Maeve, smiling viciously the whole time. "You peasant wench. Did you really think you could get your hands on ~my~ Sinbad?"
"He's not your's, you evil witch, so leave, now." Maeve commanded.
"I think I'll stay. It's a rather beautiful ceremony. And my favorite apprentice is here." Rumina giggled delightedly.
"Who? No one of ~your~ kind is here, Rumina. They're in Hell." Maeve hissed.
"Oh really? Well your little 'Chrystyn' isn't in Hell." Rumina smugly smiled.
"Chrystyn? It's... not..." Maeve stopped and broke into tears.
"Chrystyn" raised her hands and was transformed back into Sadelah. "Sorry, honey, you should have known better."
"But.. I trusted you." Sinbad's heart broke at seeing Maeve so crushed.
"Hey, get out of here, both of you." Sinbad shouted angrily.
"No thanks." Sadelah continued standing by Maeve.
Maeve looked at her slowly. She blinked back tears. Suddenly, before Sadelah knew what was happening, Maeve had slapped her. "You little bitch! How dare you?!?"
Sadelah tried to defend herself, but it was useless. An Irishwoman with a mission is hard to stop. Maeve lost control of herself and sank to the ground, sobbing.
Doubar stepped forward and held Rumina back. Sinbad hurried to Maeve. Sadelah was on the ground, and was getting ready to stand back up. Sinbad whispered something to Maeve, and she nodded.
As she started to throw two fireballs, one at Rumina, and one at Sadelah, they attacked her. Rumina send a black fireball at her which killed her.
"MAEVE!" Sinbad screamed. "You killed her!"
"Yes I did." Rumina laughed evilly.
"Chrystyn?" Maeve was shaking her.
"Huh? Sorry, I was just thinking about something." Chrystyn concealed a smile.
"Oh, ok." Maeve accepted that.
"Well, tomorrow's your big day. You should get some rest." Chrystyn hugged Maeve and left the room. As soon as she shut the door, she laughed quietly. *Rumina, everything will work out perfectly...*
