The Marching Show


This year the "Rebel Regiment" presented a very special show that only we could do; "Are You From Dixie". The show included the following songs:
We traveled to three festivals and were very happy with the progress of the show.


The Marching Band
The marching band this year consists of about 45 members. These members are divided among brass, flag, percussion, and woodwinds. Included in the Marching Band is the Pep Band which entertains DCHS fans at almost every football game.

    Homecoming '99
    On Friday, October 1, the DCHS marching band took part in the 1999 Bears homecoming festivities. Included in the festivities were Bear Growl(a large pep rally), the homecoming parade, pregame, and the crowning of the Homecoming Queen. The queen this year was none other than the DCHS Marching Band's Drum Major, Sarah Hender
    1998-99 Marching Season
    In the 1998-1999 Marching season, we traveled to Tallahassee, Florida to compete in the District III Marching Festival. We performed a Western show entitled "How the West was Fun". The performance that day was our best of the entire season but sadly, we only received a rating of Excellent.
