My Favorite Things
So, I am Austin. You may remember me from the Christmas letter you recieved last year. I was pretty famous for a while! The folks were real impressed! I try real hard to meet their approval.
Sometimes I mess up though. Like this one time Lane and I were playing in our room. Mom was with us but had to go downstairs to do, you know, "mom-stuff". She was real responsible and put the baby gate up so I couldn't fall down the stairs. So we're in there playing away and I discovered how to climb my dresser. Well, Lane was real proud and yelling for mom to come and see.
By the time she made it up the stairs I was standing on top of the thing. I was so high up I felt like Daddy! Well, mom couldn't wait to hug me and almost fell over that baby gate. She wasn't smiling, though, and she took me down right away and said that word I have grown to loathe; NO.
I guess it wasn't a good thing to do. Oh well! It was great fun while it lasted! And I keep trying that climbing trick on anything I can. Sooner or later I will find something to climb that won't get me in trouble.
