Morning lake was painted with permission from a photograph taken by Arttu.
The soft haze of the morning fog over the water and the glow of the sun on the shore was purely luscious to me and I couldn't resist painting it.
My daughter asked me if she could hang it in her room, but unfortunately for her
it was sold to L. Whittenberg very soon after being added to my gallery.

The painting is acrylic on stretched canvas and was actually finished rather quickly.
Often when I am working on an image that I really like, and which is coming out well,
I find that I can't easily put the brushes down. I feel an overpowering need to finish
the work so I can see myself how it will come out.
