Poor Britney Spears. The teen musical powerhouse isn't dating anybody, if spokeswoman Sonia Mackle is to be believed. The reports that Britney, 17, is dating Robbie Carrico of Boyz n' Girlz Unlimited are "absolutely not true" Mackle says in this morning's USA Today (though she does say they are friends). Today's New York Post, however, claims that they are "dating" and that Britney's rep "confirmed" this. USA Today also reports that Britney's not dating 'N Sync's Justin Timberlake, either. "She's not dating anyone right now" Mackle tells the paper. In other news of Spears, TV Guide reports that Britney says her breasts are her own. "I went through a major growth spurt" Britney tells the publication, by way of explaining that the breast implants reports about her are "totally not true."

Pop sensation Britney Spears 's star fell yesterday when she jilted hundreds of fans who waited hours at Downtown Crossing for the chance to get her autograph.
More than an hour after Spears was due for the 1 p.m. appearance in front of Filene's, an organizer announced that the teen singer was detained in Memphis - where 'N Sync member Justin Timberlake, whom Spears has been spending quite a bit of time with lately, grew up and was to perform last night.
Anytsi Reynolds, a representative with Tommy Hilfiger, the event's cosponsor, told the restless crowd that Spears's flight had ''mechanical difficulties,'' an excuse many of the disgruntled fans didn't buy.
''They knew about this before now,'' said 20-year-old Jessica Polillio, from Stoughton, who brought her 10-year-old sister, Kayla, downtown at 2:30 a.m. to wait in line to get wristbands handed out to the first 250 fans at
7 a.m. ''She's so disappointed. She's hurt.''
Filene's spokeswoman Robin Reibel said those who had wristbands would be sent an autographed Spears CD and some Tommy Hilfiger merchandise. (Spears was scheduled to perform at the BankBoston Pavilion last night, with local singer Michael Africk slated to open the concert.)
''We've been here since 4 o'clock in the morning,'' said 12-year-old Maria Crooker, from Billerica. ''I think she lied to us and wants to spend time with Justin.''
Earlier, the mood was festive, as teenage and preteen girls carrying cameras clogged the street, singing along to Spears music heard over loudspeakers, and holding signs pledging their devotion to the star. But by the time the announcement was made, some of the signs had been replaced by ones that read ''Britney, get a watch'' and ''Where's Britney - with Justin?''

When Britney came for the first time in Orlando, Florida on November 17, 1998 at the Tupperware Center as N Sync's supporting act, both started to fall in love. "But the next day of the second concert, we came closer together" told Britney.
Britney: "I told him that a few months ago, I got fed up with my ex- boyfriend from Kentwood, and I had never felt in love that fast later." In Justin's mind, he kept thinking about her and wanted to spend time with her. The tour finished on January 17, 1999 and 50 concerts were performed. Britney: " We spent a lot of time and learned about each other even more and I figured out that I fell in love with Justin".
Britney's greatest success with "Baby One More Time" and her debut album hit #1 in North America and became a superstar. She became as the "Pop Princess". Justin who had success with N SYNC in the USA also is the perfect prince.
He gave Britney on her birthday December 2 a gold ring, and she always wore it.
Both celebrated in Las Vegas for New Year's Eve after the concert. Both call each other almost every day. When Justin and his bandmates started touring on March 3, Britney stays at home with her parents in Kentwood to film her video clip "Sometimes" and sprained her knee.
Justin worried about Britney, but was happy that the surgery was fine. On March 9, he flew to Pittsburgh, the first free day of N Sync's tour, to see Britney and offered her beautiful flowers. Both had tears in their eyes. (LMFAO)

Apparently their relationship has been blooming since June of this year to some criticism of the minors' unbecoming conduct in light of Wednesday's revelations. Since Extra, similar reports have surfaced and it's been all over radio, in L.A. at least, where KIIS FM has made more than a mention of the events.
Britney Begs Boston: "Baby One More Time"
A contrite Britney Spears has expressed her "deepest heartfelt apologies" to the thousand or so Boston fans that the teen singing sensation stood up earlier this week in favor of a tryst with 'N Sync heartthrob Justin Timberlake.
"Britney understands the importance of her fans and would never set out to disappoint them," Jive Records reassured the pop princess' minions via press release, adding that plans to reschedule the personal appearance were underway.
But will anyone show up?
Hundreds of Britney's faithful fans had logged hours under broiling sunlight outside a local department store for the chance to get up close and personal with their idol. Some had even camped out overnight. But the day before, the seventeen-year-old singer and her inamorato had hopped a plane for points south -- Britney was apparently unable to find her way back in time for the scheduled session.
"It's wicked bad," a disappointed 14-year-old autograph seeker told the Boston Herald. "I think she's going to lose a lot of Boston fans."
The star showed up in time for a zippy one-hour set at her sold-out Beantown concert later that night but reportedly "stormed past" the scores of admirers waiting outside her hotel to congratulate her afterwards. "Oh, she was in one baaaaad mood," a source told the Herald.
But it would take an army of disgruntled fans to halt the momentum of Britney's career arc. Earlier this week sales of ". . . Baby One More Time" topped six million, making Britney Spears the first teenage girl to go platinum times six.

Britney And 'N Sync's Justin Address Rumors Of Romance
Now that their albums are at number one and two respectively, Britney Spears and 'N Sync can work on putting a persistent rumor to rest. Spears and 'N Sync recently toured together on a double bill that was a dream come true for many teen pop followers, and their connection goes back several years to when two of the 'N Sync guys (J.C. Chasez and Justin Timberlake) were part of the new "Mickey Mouse Club" in Orlando along with an 11-year-old Britney Spears.
The connection has led to some persistent rumors that there might be something more than just friendship between Justin and Britney. "No, it's not true. They're just like big brothers to me," Spears told MTV News' John Norris last week in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. "I guess that's why they think that, because we were on the Mickey Mouse Club together, so they just assume that."
Norris also caught up with 'N Sync while in Louisiana, and broached the same topic with them.
"Me and Britney? Sorry," Justin told MTV News.
"I'm actually dating Britney. We've been together for about seven years," Joey joked.
"I'm dating Britney and two of her dancers." Lance added.

Britney Spears Discusses Life With 'N Sync
The 16-year-old pop songstress known as Britney Spears is currently on the road with 'N Sync where she is getting a crash course in teen stardom.Spears is attracting attention with her single "Baby, One More Time," and is going through the press ringer at each stop on the tour, but she says it's nothing compared to what her tourmates in 'N Sync are greeted with in every city.
"Oh my God, you should see these screaming girls. It's unreal," Spears confided in our friends in the MTV Radio Network recently. "I mean, the things they do to see these guys is unbelievable, and I started to say, 'Well, when I was that age I would never be like that,' but I am that age. I would never dream of going through the stuff they go through for these guys. It's soooo bizarre."
And just how sleazy can things get on the road with 'N Sync?
"I've been backstage as their opening act, and I've been out there or whatever, and girls out in the audience are lifting their shirts up, and I'm dying. I'm like, 'Oh my goodness, I'm not believing this. This is bad.'"
