Chapter 1 June 27, 1998 Lucy Coe lay curled up in a ball, sobbing. Kevin, her Doc, had abandoned her. Just like her father said everyone would. _________________________________________________________________ May 8, 1968 Lucile Nicole (Lucy) Coe sat quietly on her bed, while her father went on a rampage. At age 5 Lucy was a chatty, charming girl that everyone loved, except the one person Lucy loved the most, her daddy. "I hate you! You stupid, ugly little witch! I wish you would die! No one loves you Lucy! No one will ever love you. Your just a slut like your mother!" With that cruel comment Lucy's father grabbed a duffel bag and walked out of Lucy's life forever. Lucy was terrified her mother was dead, her father was gone where would she go now??? June 27, 1998 Lucy said "Daddy's right. No one will love me." Lucy looked around and saw a gun. It dawned on her "I can end it right now" she whispered. she grabbed the gun and pulled the trigger it went off. Bang. Meanwhile at the lighthouse Kevin lay on *their* bed starring at a picture off her and him. She was beaming. "Oh Lucy why does loving you have to hurt so much" _______________________________________________________________ Next time on life after love..... Lucy is rushed to G.H. Will she make it? Chapter 2 Kevin had drifted off to sleep when he got the call. With all Lucy's adventures he had never gotten the call, but now by abandoning her at the alter he had done it.Kevin threw some clothes on and rushed to G.H. He saw his friend Mac, and Felica Scorpio in the waiting room. "What happened? How's Lucy?" Kevin asked fearing the worst. Mac answerd sadly, "apparently Lucy shot herself. Her neighbor called 911 and reported hearing gunshots. w-w-when I checked it out I saw Lucy Lying there. L_Luckily there was a pulse" Keven sat down on a chair and began the longest wait of his life. "why?" he thought," Lucy's surived so much why attempt suicide now" After what seemed like an eterninty, Dr.Tony Jones came out. "Tony, How's Lucy?" Felica, Mac and Kevin all asked franticly. "Lucy is in a coma the bullet went through the right side of her brain there could be Brain Damage. She might not wake up". Tony replied sadly wiping a tear from his eye rembering how Lucy would take care of B.j and how B.J adored Lucy."Can I see her?" Kevin asked Tony nodded and said "c.c.u room 2" ______________________________________________________________________ Kevin walked in and his heart almost stopped beating there were tubes coming out of almost everywere. Lucy's skin was pale and her face which wsa nomally vibrant with light was lightless. "Lucy wherever you are I love you I need you come back to me" Kevin kissed Lucys hand and sat down in a chair. He began a long, loving vigil, Praying for a miracle. _______________________________________________________Victor got home from his date with mary and saw Kevin's note. "oh my god Lucy" Victor said thinking of the girl whom he loved like a daughter. He threw his shoes back on and rushed to G.H.

Chapter 3 Kevin sat by Lucy's bedside. ''Do you know when I first realised I loved you? I thought I had killed Grace and I was rembering what had happened and you were there for me. But where was I for you? When you wake up, because I know you won't leave me god could not be so cruel, It will be differant I swear. I will be there for you I promise.'' kevin said as he ran his fingers through Lucy's soft, silky hair. He kissed her cheek. Victor walked in, ''I came as soon as I heard Monk, How is she?'' Victor asked. ''She's in a coma, Tony doesn't think she'll make it but I won't give up on her'' Tony walked in, ''I'm afraid the choice has been taken out of your hands Lucy's d.n.r order from her Poisoning still stands I'm afraid You wil have to say goodbye. I have to turn the machines off tomorow'' Tony left leaving Kevin and Victor to there thoughts. Finally it was dawn but what would the dawn bring. Kevin kissed Lucy softly and whispered ''I love you Lucy, Come back'' Tony came in and said ''It's time to say goodbye,'' Just as he was about to pull the plug Luke spencer and Sonny Corinthos walked in. ''What are you doing to Lucy?'' Luke asked angrily. ''Lucy signed a D.N.R order'' Kevin and Victor replied simotaniously, '' We have to say goodbye'' Luke walked up to Lucy's bedside, he leaned towards her and whispered ''I won't say Goodye, I'll say untill we meet again, Because I know I will see you again your a hell of a girl Luce:'' He kissed her cheek. Sonny kissed Lucy's cheek and said '' Your the only girl I've ever met who called me a crimnal one minute cried on my shoulder and then called me a gentleman. I'll miss you Luce'' Victor kissed her cheek, ''I will miss you my almost daughter-in-law- I love you. You are a total sweetheart. I'll miss you'' Kevin kissed lucy again and Tony pulled the plug.

Chapter 4 Kevin stared at Lucy's body, it had been 20 minutes. She was still lifeless and comatose but she hadn't died yet, Kevin considered that his own personal miracle. Kevin watched her breathe and was struck, as he usaully was when he watched her sleep, at how angelic,innocent and peaceful she looked. Kevin drifted of into a haunting light sleep. He saw his brother Ryan laughing at him,"i got you back major time. Lucy's going to die and it's your fault all your fault." Kevin woke up with a start, When something tapped his hand he looked and saw Serena Baldwin. "Kevin what happened to Lucy?" Serena asked sadly. "Is she going to die?" she added. Kevin placed his large hand into Serena's tiny one"I don't know" Serena began talking to Lucy. "Hi Lucy it's me. You need to wake up I need you Kevin needs you and even though he's mad at you right now, Daddy needs you. I need you take me shopping for pretty clothes and to make me laugh when I am scared because I can't see anymore. Kevin needs you because he loves You and you make him laugh. " As Serena continues Scott walks in and Dominique, who is invisible to Kevin, Scott, and Serena, takes Lucy's hand. "And Daddy needs you because you laugh at his jokes and you make him happier, and even though he won't admit it He's worried about you Please don't leave us Lucy!" Serena feels her way towards Lucys bed and collapses on Lucys bed sobbing. Kevin stared at Lucy in shock her hand it moved! He hears a weak voice "Serena don't cry" Lucy's arms wrapped around the crying girl. "Lucy I love you don't leave me!" Serena said clinging to her almost Mommy. "I love you too Serena I won't leave you ever."

Part 5 Serena hugged Lucy tightly and then said "Good bye Lucy" She kissed her almost mom's face and worked her way out the door. "Bye pal" Scotty said gently squeezing Lucy's hand tightly. "I'm sorry about what i said Yesterday. I know you didn't mean for anything to happen." Lucy squeezed Scotty's hand gratefully. "thanks pal" She said "bye." Scott and SERENA LEFT AND LUCY AND KEVIN WERE ALONE. "Lucy why?" Kevin asked, "why did you try to kill yourself?" Lucy replied" I was a little girl again about five years old and my father like you had just abandoned me" sadly Lucy continued "Daddy was right you know I am not worth anybody’s love or affection i am Just a worthless slut." "Lucy, No" Kevin said, "Your father was wrong you are a decent woman with a good heart and I had no right to abandon you I am a huge hypocritical jerk. You stood by me when I stalked Felicia, When I lied to you about being catatonic You forgave me, And then when I lied to you again, about Victor, You forgave me but when you lied to me did I forgive you no I walked out on you. I deserve to be shot." Lucy took Kevin’s hand and held it Kevin wrapped his arms around Lucy, and they both whispered at the same time, "forgive me." Kevin looked into Lucy's hazel eyes and saw his own feeling reflected back at him. He kissed Lucy softly and slowly. "I love you Doc." Lucy whispered. Kevin whispered back, "I love you too" Meanwhile Rex Stanton, who had escaped from jail a week ago, was making the finishing touches to his plan. They would pay, Kevin and Lucy would pay. "Hello Michael Coe this is Rex Stanton How would You like to teach Your Horrible rotten slut of a daughter a lesson." Rex hung up the phone after getting Michael’s Agreement he stared at the viewing monitor and saw Kevin kiss Lucy. "You better enjoy her while you can Doc, soon Lucy will be mine all mine." Psychopathic laugh
