This is a list of Characters in the game:
Cecil
The main character of the game. Cecil begins as a Dark Knight who must do his best to become a high respected knight. He never leaves the party. After becoming a Paladin, he can use some White Magic. Powerful swordsman.
Kain
A dragoon who joins Cecil at the start. He later vanishes and gets controlled by Golbez. He comes and goes often during the game. His special attack is a Jump which causes major damage.
Rydia
Rydia is a child who is a Caller of Mist. As a child, she can use both white and black magic, but as an adult she can't use white magic, but she can learn many Calls which are special magic attacks where she calls people to use a magic attack. Weak at fighting, but strong magic power.
Tellah
An old man who's daughter is killed when Damycyan is attacked. He has minimal MP but has strong magic. Weak attack power
Edward
Edward is Prince of Damycyan who poses as a Bard. Probably the weakest character in the game as his special attack is hiding. He can also use Sing which causes various effects to enemies.
Rosa
Cecil's girlfriend. She is a White Mage who can use very powerful white magic. Aim is her Special attack which increases damages when she's equipped with a Bow & Arrow. Weak attack power.
Yang
Karate master of Fabul. He joins briefly before Fabul is attacked, and rejoins later. His attack is Kick which attacks all enemies at once, but takes minimal HP. Otherwise, good fighter.
Palom
One of the twins from Mysidia. Black wizard who learns good black magic. Weak at attacking. He can use his twin Porom to use powerful twin attacks against enemies.
Porom
One of the twins from Mysidia. White wizard using good white magic. Weak at attacking. She can use her twin Palom to use powerful twin attacks against enemies
Cid
Airship engineer of Baron. He joins you for a while. His special ability is Peep which allows you to see the enemies' stats. Can't use magic, but good fighter.
Edge
The ninja/prince of Eblam who joins you after his parents succomb to darkness. He has high attack power and speed. He can hold a sword in each hand, and uses Dart and Sneak attacks.
