It was a brand new day, and everyone was headed for breakfast. Kevin and Brian got a room with a couple of other people, but weren't bothered or tempered with. As they made their way down, along with the crowd, Kevin took a look around to see if any guards were around. He grabbed Brian by the arm and dragged him into one of the hallways. "Brian listen, I have to figure out how to get in the black hole." He told him. "No man! That's way too risky! You don't know what they'll do to you there!" He told him. Kevin knew that the only way to get Brian to follow him and help him was if he said something to him that hit close to home. "Fine, you won't be seeing Ashlee anytime soon with that messed up attitude." Brian's eyes widened up and stared right into Kevin's eyes. "You just had to say that didn't you?" Brian told him. "Hey I'm not doing this for your sake only alright? I got someone I want to see too." He replied. "Look, I was thinking about it all night and I got a plan."

Sheena and Nick got up but in a different location. She had rested her head on his shoulder, and he had rested his head on hers. They had gotten their key and were now in a different room. The room was like no other. The walls weren't padded but spacious and luxurious. Painting's hung on the walls, and golden chandeliers hung from the ceiling. There was a 6-foot tall statue in the back. It was a figure holding some type of torch. In the center of it, there were circular designs and four keyholes. Each key told on side of the story. In the middle of the room, there was a table with food. Sheena's eyes widened as they never widened before. Nick didn't know if he was dreaming or not. "I guess this is our reward for overcoming it all." She said. Nick wore the key around his neck just for safety. They both were hungry; after all, they hadn't eating anything in the past 2 days. "Shall we?" He asked her, offering his arm. She took his arm and they walked their way over to the table.

"Damn it." Pat said, trying to cut open the carcass. "Here, let me try." Howie said, taking away the scalpel from her. They had been working all night. He used all his force to slice up the victim. "Ah, it's no use, I can't do it." Howie remarked, as he stabbed the scalpel in its chest. " This is completely pointless and just simply a waste of my time." Silence. Pat looked at some displays of the human skeleton and walked over to the cadaver. She grabbed the scalpel with both hands and twisted it. Green Blood started to spill out from the hole, and she continued to cut the skin at a vertical angle. An awful stench filled the air, and noises were heard. Mr. Silverman had no intestines. Instead he had small snakes covered in green, thick, clear hot blood. Pat was shocked. When she saw it, she dropped the scalpel and hit her back on one of the drawers. Howie still hadn't realized what was inside of the body. He made his way closer and peered inside of it. "Oh sick." He said. He saw a gold object being swam on, and knew that it was the key. Howie kissed his cross and said a short prayer and reached in. His heart thumped, and forehead sweat, as he slowly began to lower his hand. He felt the heat of the blood, and just wanted to get it over with. Feeling the snake's crawl around his hand he reached for the key and found it. He yanked his hand out of the carcass and a couple of snakes and dripping green blood followed. Pat sighed in relief. "Oh nasty!" He exclaimed, as he washed his arm and the key. Suddenly, the door sprang open, making an awful noise. Both rushed out, and didn't look back.

Meanwhile, back in the rehab center, AJ and Ashlee were still trying to figure out a plan. They knew that breakfast was coming and this would be a perfect diversion. Ashlee tried to maintain under control and think positively about it all. Dr. Janice told the patients that today was "Play Day". Since both of them were able to get ride of the jackets, they could move more freely. AJ knew a devilish scheme would come from this.
As AJ associated with the other mental patients, Ashlee sat down observing and thinking. At first, nothing really happened, just a whole bunch of middle aged people acting like children of 5. This was something new to her. As she looked around she saw more things that would be engraved in her mind for the rest of her life. People being thrown around as if they were toys. Doctors using profanity towards patients, and not being able to fight back. What really hit close to home was the sight of the elderly being beat on. Dr.Janice had seen it all, and gotten used to it all. She saw Ashlee alone in a corner and decided to talk to her.
"Hello." She said in a warm-hearted voice. "Hi." Ashlee responded. "So, why aren't you over there playing with your other friends?" She asked. "I have no friends." She snapped back, giving the Dr. a cold look. "Now, that's not true! We can just go over there and make some Fr-..."
"I don't want to go over there, and I don't want to make no stupid friends!" She said angrily. Dr.Janice was getting very disturbed about her attitude. "Now dear, why don't you tell me what's bothering you.." She said. Ashlee was getting fed up about being asked so many questions. "LOOK!" She stated, "You wanna know what's bothering me?! Fine I'll tell you what's bothering me," Her voice grew louder by the word. AJ's attention was automatically caught. "I'm in a nut house that I don't belong in, I have to be stuck in a rehab center doing absolutely nothing, plus I'm stuck with you as a shrink!" Ashlee began to cry after saying all that, and she knew she had left out on of the most important reason. AJ ran over to Ashlee's side to see what he could. Suddenly, the alarm bell rang and intercom called out through the building. "ALL SECURITY OFFICIALS NEEDED OUTSIDE, CODE 3! ALL SECURITY OFFICIALS NEEDED OUTSIDE,CODE 3!"
Dr.Janice ran to one of the guards and was handed a shiny gold object. She quickly slipped it into her left coat pocket thinking that no patient had seen. AJ noticed it right offhand. "She put the key into her pocket." AJ whispered to Ashlee. She quickly wiped the tears from her eyes and looked to the side. "I'm gonna get that key of it's the last thing I do." She said
Dr.Janice quickly rushed back to her patients and told them that nothing was wrong and to continue to what they were doing before.
"This is what we're gonna do," AJ said, "you talk to her about what's bothering you while I go behind her and grab the key from her left pocket. Its gonna be easy." He said. She nodded her head in agreement. Dr.Janice walked her way over to them and begun speaking to Ashlee again. "Now dear, what's bothering you?" She asked. Ashlee looked at AJ and then back at the Dr. "Well, I am never going to see my pimp again." Ashlee said in a trembling voice. AJ got up and went over with the other mental patients slamming his head up a wall, blending in with the rest. While Ashlee lured Dr.Janice into gaining all her attention, AJ rubbed his head, and made his way over behind Dr.Janice. He got down on his knees and slowly reached to grab the key. Ashlee managed to get Dr.Janice to hug her to make things even easier for AJ. He grabbed it and quickly shoved it in his pants. He gave Ashlee the 'OK' sign to tell her he got it. "Come on, let's go." He said to Ashlee, standing up. "Go? Go where?" Dr.Janice asked. "Were out of here." Ashlee said. "That's impossible you can't get out of here, I have the k- -," Dr.Janice patted down her left pocket and noticed that he key was no longer there. "I order you to give me back that key this very instant!" The doctor ordered. "Baby, if you want the key you can come GET the key!" AJ said to her, pointing and grabbin' at the crotch of his pants. He knew that she wasn't going to do it, that and the fact that he thought she was kind of fruity. The doctor looked at Ashlee. "If you think your going to see that worthless thing you called a pimp, HA! You'll never see him again. Your nothing but a liar!" Dr.Janice said, "You're living in a matrix sweetheart, you're never going to see him again! All you girls now a days fall for little boys that are nothing! All you are is another dumb blonde!" She continued. Something in Ashlee snapped. Her hands were at her side, and she felt her them clench into tight fists. She took a swing, and slammed Dr.Janice. Dr.Janice fell on the tile floor and was in unbearable pain. "Shut the fuck up, you fuckin' dyke!" Ashlee shouted, while kicking her side. She was still pissed about what she said, and AJ had a big grin from ear to ear. "Come on girl, let's dip."
He took the key out of his pants, placed it in the keyhole and turned the knob. He heard the clacking sound and knew it was successful. He took the key out and put it back into his "safe place" and locked the doctor inside of the center. They got out and made their way down the hall.

Kevin and Brian where still figuring out a plan. Sitting together in the cafeteria they both took notes about the place. The alarm bell sounded and they heard it. They kept cool but still observing. Everyone was dressed in white and well mannered. Brian stopped eating. "What's wrong?" Kevin asked. Brian had his head in his hands and elbow on the table. "I'm so worried about Ashlee, I can't get her off my mind. I don't know who's she's with, and if she's hurt or not." Kevin looked at his cousin and understood what he was going through. He tried to find the right words so that he would maintain his sanity. But what were the right words? Kevin had a headache from it all, and knew that nothing he said could possibly comfort him. The pain that he was going through, was unlike any other. Not physical pain, but emotional pain. Kevin couldn't stand that sight of his cousin suffering. "Look Brian, were gonna get through this alright? All we need is patience, and a little more time." He looked at Kevin. "Are you not worried?" he asked. Kevin couldn't lie. "Of course I'm worried, but Pat knows how to take care of herself." He stopped and thought about what he just said, and realized that his feelings for her were no longer just mutual. "Look, Ashlee is not alone, she must be with one of the others, so don't worry so much, she's grown enough to take care of herself." Brian took serious thought on what he said. "Ok." He replied, nodding his head. After breakfast, the got up and went to sit by the stairs.
Kevin explained to Brian about the plan he thought of, and what they need. "Ok, here it is. First thing's first. We need more people to help us with this, we need to do something that will cause a distraction. Better yet, someone. You get one of your friends to help and leave the rest to me."
Brian understood the plan, but still was concerned. "I can do that, but what are you going to do?" he asked. Kevin looked at his cousin. "I'm going to yank that chain off that guys neck, and then we'll make a run for it." The plan sounded simple, and Brian didn't think it was dangerous, but everything was a risk. Kevin was prepared to do anything to get out of that Asylum.
The crowd that they walked in with came out and a new one entered. They all made their way to the lounge, and went back to what they were doing. Kevin went to his corner to watch some reruns of "I Love Lucy", while Brian gathered their distraction. Kevin glanced over to where the guard was and noticed that all he did was stand in front of a door, crossed his arms and look straight ahead.
Brian came back to tell Kevin whom he rounded up. "I got 4 guys that will cause a major pain." He pointed to Clark Ken. This one was 100% sure that he was superman in disguise. He also thought he could fly. The second one was Spiderman. The guys called him that because he could climb walls. The third guy was Elvis Priestly. He sung "white suede sandals" and "Asylum Rock". The forth and last partner in crime was Mickey a.k.a. "Monkey". His story was different. The others called him monkey because he had this disease of meddling into other peoples business. He also knew the whole asylum by heart. Brian told them how it was going to work, and then told Kevin to get ready.

"Pass the salt." Nick asked Sheena, as they were enjoying their meal. "This is completely out of the question." She stated. "What passing the salt?!" he asked. "No, this whole idea of getting awarded with food. She dropped her fork on her plate. Nick was still chewing and suddenly realized she had a point. You bust out of a padded room and awake in a dinning room larger than most normal American homes? He stopped eating , and padded his chest to check if the key was still there. It was. Sheena got up and examined the paintings that hung on the wall. She noticed that each painting was of an area that they saw coming up here and some where of people that worked in the hotel. One picture caught her eye because of he colors and shape it had. Each shape stood for an object or even a word. Nick got up from the table and walked over to where she was. "You okay?" He asked, touching her shoulder. "Huh?" she snapped out of the trans. "What do you see in this?" she asked him. He looked at the painting, turning his head sideways trying to figure out if he could pinpoint something. Since he wasn't much of a art lover he really didn't see anything in particular that caught his eye. "Nothing," He responded. "You see anything?" She took another glimpse of the painting. "This area of the painting means torture. This one means death." She said.

As Pat and Howie walked down a hallway right out of the morgue, they passed by some rooms and by some doctors. They headed for the end, and noticed there was an elevator. "There's our ticket out of here." They approached the elevator and pressed the up button. "Damn it!" He said, " It won't work." Pat noticed there was a keyhole under the button. "Pass the key," Pat said. Howie handed her the key and she put it in the keyhole and pressed it. The button came red and the elevator doors opened. They quickly stepped it and sighed in relief, and the doors shut.
The inside of the elevator was padded for those 'special' patients. Howie pressed the top button and the elevator jolted. "I'm glad we're out of there," Pat said. "Now what are we going to expect after these doors open?" She asked. "We'll see when we get there. The elevator suddenly stopped. The doors opened and they faced a door. She walked out first and headed for the door, trying to turn the knob. "Did you hear that?" Sheena asked. "Hear what?" Nick questioned. Howie got the key out and slipped it into the keyhole, making a clacking noise that they had the door unlocked. "I know you heard that!" Sheena Exclaimed. "Yeah I did." Nick responded. "I'm hearing voices." Howie said. "So am I." Nick grabbed a knife and she followed. "Look, just open the door. I brought that scalpel with me." Pat said. "You stole that?" Howie asked. "No, I just kind of borrowed it." Howie shook his head. "Ready?" Howie said. "Yeah." Pat replied. Nick was preparing himself just to scare who ever was coming. Pat counted down. "On the count of three you open the door. One, two, three!"
The door flew open and they got a glimpse at each other. "Nick?!" Pat said, dropping the scalpel. "Pat?!" He called, also dropping the knife. They both walked in and slammed the door. Pat and nick hugged each other, and Howie and Sheena did the same. "Where were you guys?" Howie asked. "We got stuck in a padded room with straight jackets tied to each other." Sheena replied. "What about you guys?" Nick asked. "Well, we got stuck in the morgue, having to open a dead body." Pat said. "Food." Howie said. "Don't eat that!" Sheena exclaimed. "Why not?" Pat questioned . "I'm not so sure about that food, its kind of odd getting food as an award." Howie stopped and thought about it. And so did Pat. "Your right, it does sound a little ironic." Pat pointed out.
"Nick you still got the key right? " Sheena asked "Yeah." He said. Pat asked Howie for the key and put it around her neck for safekeeping. "Well? What do we do now?" Howie asked. "I don't know, just wait I guess." Pat answered.

AJ and Ashlee looked around for the nearest elevator or something to get them off that floor before the guards came back. Ashlee pointed to a flight of stairs, and they both headed for it. After climbing about 50 stairs a small hallway appeared and at the end of it was an elevator. "There's an elevator over there!" Ashlee said happily. "Thank you God." AJ mumbled. He ran down the hallway and she followed. He hit the button but nothing lighted up or opened. Ashlee then noticed there was a keyhole underneath the button. "AJ, put the key in then press the knob." AJ reached down his pants and grabbed the key. "Ah, that feels better!" He said, "More room!" He slipped the key into the hole and pressed the up button. The doors of the elevator opened, and they both went in. Ashlee pressed the UP button and leaned on one of the walls. AJ had to sit down for a while gathering his thoughts. Out of no where, the elevator came to a sudden jolt. The doors opened and there they saw another door. They stepped out and AJ used the key to open the door. He turned the knob and swung the door open. "AJ!" Pat called. "Ashlee!" Nick said. They all ran to greet each other. AJ greeted everybody except Sheena. He walked over to here she was and put his hands around her waste. "Oh now you come to me?" She said. He gave her that smile and told her, "Well you know I always leave the best for last." She knew she couldn't resist those big ears, and just had to hug him. There they also shared a kiss. Sheena knew that she was happier than ever to see him again. The others just stood and stared. "Get a room." Nick said, breaking the moment. "Get a chic." AJ replied and got back to what he was doing.
Ashlee looked around to see if she'd miss anyone to hug and noticed that neither Brian nor Kevin was there. Pat was still talking to the others when she noticed Ashlee was sitting down, starting to tear up. She walked over towards her to see what she could do. "Hey… what's wrong?" Pat asked. Ashlee looked at her. "Brian's not here, I thought by the time we would have made it up here, they would have been here." She said. "I'm worried about him, I don't know where he is." She continued. Pat knew that he was with Kevin and that she was just as worried about Brian. What could she say to her? "Their not babies anymore. And I'm sure that they're doing something to get out of where ever there at." She said. Ashlee knew that Pat was right, but it wouldn't keep her from worrying. Pat stayed with her until some sign would show up.

Brian and Kevin were anxiously awaiting their plan. Elvis and Monkey would start a game. Then Spider and Superman would ask to join in. There they would start a fight because of the attitude Monkey was going to give to Superman. That would cause Spider to get frustrated and start climbing the walls and on people as well. Brian would just try to distract the guard by ratting on them.
Kevin asked Monkey where the Black hole was and how to get there. He found out that the black whole was nothing more than a place with no light. Most people feared the place because as soon as they got into the whole their imagination would take over. Instead Monkey told Kevin to go up the stairs and find the hallway with the elevator.
Kevin gave him the Okay sign to begin the distraction. "Touch me like that one more time and I swear to you you'll get hit." Monkey yelled, pushing Superman back. The fight then begun and Spider began to climb things. A crowd began to gather and Kevin got up. Brian ran to tell the guard about the fight. "Hey man, they're fighting over there and he's hurting people!" Brian told him. The guard uncrossed his arms and did the unthinkable. "Here man, Hold this key and don't let anyone out." The guard said. Kevin was in disbelief. Brian just stood there astonished that it would be that easy. Kevin ran to where Brian was and they got out of there and locked them in. he quickly remembered what Monkey had said. Kevin ran to the flight of stairs before anyone caught them and Brian followed. There, they both ran to the end and found the elevator. Kevin grabbed the key from Brian and put it in the Keyhole, pressed the button and the doors opened. they got in and pressed the button marked UP. The elevator gave the famous jolt and they were on their way.
The elevator stopped and the doors opened. There was the door that they all were waiting for. Kevin and Brian stepped out, and walked near the door. they both prepared themselves. Sliding the key through the hole and turning the knob they door was opened.
"Kevin??" Pat questioned. "Ashlee!" Brian yelled. Both Brian and Kevin ran inside to meet up with the girls. Brian grabbed a hold of Ashlee and she began crying tears of joy, and they once again reunited. Brian kissed her, and she kissed him back. Pat ran into his arms, and embraced him. They both shared a long kiss. Ashlee and Brian couldn't stop hugging each other. "I never want to lose you again." Brian said. "Neither do I."
Pat and Kevin were still engaged in their moment of passion, and weren't letting go of each other so early.
Nick and Howie felt left out, but let's not forget that they did say they had rounded up a whole bunch of girls phone number on the cruise, so no one really was worried about them. After Pat, Kevin, Ashlee, and Brian were done reuniting, the moment of truce came. The moment where the four keys would be inserted into the statue and the mysteries would be reviled.
The whole gang walked near to the statue. The holders of the keys placed each one in a random location, and the statue unlocked itself.
As it slowly opened, a bright white light appeared from within, causing everyone to cover his or her eyes. When the statue fully opened itself, and the light dimmed, there was a sheet of paper rolled up, and tied around with a ribbon. Nick looked around and noticed that the white Asylum outfits were no longer on anyone. The clothes that they had before, were on them now. "My cell! My beeper!" Howie said, in excitement. Pat picked up the piece of paper, unrolled it, and began reading:
"You have all helped to solve the mystery of The Yale Laboratory. We are all grateful of what you all have done, and will always be remembered…
"All that work for nothing? we got JIPPED!" Nick said. "Oh shut up, you ungrateful rodent." Ashlee replied. At that very second, the door in which they entered open, and the sound of other voices were heard…familiar ones. Pat walked about in the room and found a window in, which was covered with a thick curtain. She looked outside, and noticed that the thundering, the lighting, and the rains were no more. The day looked perfect for the shoot as planned.
She walked back to where the others were, and took noticed that the table that had food, and the chairs that were there, was covered in a white, long sheets. The Asylum looked as if no one had entered it or anything like that.
"Look we got the paper that doesn't tell us anything about this cottage of insanity, and I think now we have the right to leave so can we?" Sheena asked. "I'm gone." Ashlee said in agreement.
The gang made there was towards the door and out to the elevator. "Oh great." Pat said. "This thing doesn't work remember? We're now back where we started from and there is no electricity, no nothing." The only source of light they were getting, was the sunlight that came from the windows. Kevin looked around and noticed an open door which looked as if it lead to some where else. "I think I found a way we can get out of here, and that's it." He said making his way towards the door. There was a stairway leading down. From the looks of it all, about 3 flights of stairs. Kevin started making his way down as the others followed.
Down 3 flights, there was the door marked "EXIT". "Thank you god!" Brian said in excitement. Kevin opened the door, and the surroundings looked familiar. It was the stairs that used to lead to the padded rooms. He could see right down, and saw the door that they came in.
The room looked exactly like when they came in. White sheets tossed over every item, and the flashlight still lying on the ground. The pictures still posted up with every inch of dust still on it, but now they knew whom those people wore and why they were there. When they reached the first floor again, something else happened.
Another bright whit light surrounded this figure. But this was different. An old man looking towards his early 50's, with white hair neatly combed back, wearing a white over coat appeared. He was holding a clipboard and had a thetiscope around his neck.
" Dr.Shwat…" Pat said. He smiled. "Yes my dear, it is I, Sr. Holler J. Shwat." He said, with an English accent. "Now you honestly think that I would let you all leave with expressing my gratitude and many thanks?" He asked. "Absolutely not."
"Kevin and Brian. You two were the only ones that didn't speak out of line nor ask any questions. You two were able to use your charm and wisdom to get you out of trouble. Patricia, your passion in learning about the human body, and Howie's courage to stick his hand into a dreadful corpse, that not even I would do, showed what extent one goes to see his/ her loved ones again." They all laughed. "Ashlee and Alexander James. With your wits and creativity in things you too impressed me. Lastly, Sheena and Nicholas. If you want to know honestly why I put you in there, was to see how you too could coupe with each other. I've seen enough. Sheena, with your smarts, and Nicholas's courage, got you too out of a room with crispy, nasty looking spiders. You have all shown me that the human race is not fully stupid." They all listened carefully. "Before you do leave, there is one more thing I want to give you." He looked down at his clipboard and handed Kevin a folder.
"Now that folder will give you all the evidence of this occurring, and help you prove that all this happened. Once again thank you for all you've done…now get out before I have to exterminate you." He said with a laugh afterwards.
They walked to the door, and made their way outside. There they saw Lou pacing back and forth and shouting at the top of his lungs.
"I knew this was a bad idea! Those kids can't handle anything by themselves! What do they think I'm here for? Cause I like them? NO! Everything is Backstreet this, Backstreet that, do they honestly think I care?" The cameraman was trying to calm him down, but every time he tried to fit in a word, he got cut off. "Lou, get a grip, they're--" "Oh shut up, what do you know? You're just a cameraman. If I don't get this done I get the shaft!"
