Summer of 2005
Mood:  a-ok
Well I'm in Saint Paul, MN for most of the summer. I am doing the last of my training for this SJ life. This is such a great summer city. I've been biking around a lot and visiting the river and the lakes.

Have seen "Mysterious Skin" and "The War of the Worlds." I'm looking forward to "Fantastic Four" tomorrow.

Mardi Gras Tuesday
So, I just finished watching "The Human Stain"... It put me in a melancholy thoughtful mood. It had one of the strangest scenes - Anthony Hopkins ballroom dancing with Gary Sinise on the porch of a backwoods cabin. It was about one man's "last love" and about secrets of his past. It was good. Here's a pic from the film of Wentworth Miller, who plays the main character as a young man:

Movie I am looking forward to: Tim Burton's "The Corpse Bride." Check out the trailer at:

a stop motion animated piece similar to "The Nightmare Before Christmas." Looks entertaining.

Maybe I should have followed my first dream of becoming an animator. I find it ironic? that I ended up going to one of the best schools for animators and studied directing instead!

A new day.
It seems that Lycos/Angelfire has been broken, but is not fixed. It's Saturday here, and a huge snow storm just dumped several inched of snow on Milwaukee. I've been in doors all day working on computer stuff and putzing around. More later.

Saturday
Well, it's Saturday. All but two of the Resident Assistants are back. We are still without a Hall Director - he is enroute from South Africa and school starts in three days!

It's a quiet, but very cold day here in Milwaukee, WI. - it's 4 degrees outside, but the windchill is -12! But, it's sunny!

I still have to get my two syllabus' ready for Tuesday, ready and copied!

I am also doing auditions on Tuesday night for "Heaven" with call backs on Wednesday night. I hope to get some good actresses!

New beginnings.
Mood:  spacey
Signing on for the first time. So, it's a few days before school starts. Ugh! Too much to do!

I am teaching A Production Techniques class (how to use a camera, mic, edit it all, etc.) and an Acting for the Camera class.

I am also directing a play, As It Is In Heaven, by Arlene Hutton. Openning night is Thursday, April 14! It's a story about seeing angels in a Shaker community in the 1830's.
