I am disappointed that I was unable to attend the filming of the concert footage at Copps Coliseum in Hamilton and that I missed the opportunity to be an extra for the pre-concert footage at the C.N.E. The film is very nostalgic for me. Not only because Lex is very much like I was as a teenager, but also because two of the times I saw KISS perform, it was at the CNE and at Copps Coliseum. Seeing the characters in the film experiencing what I had on the very same pavement added to this nostalgia.
Being a KISS fan, I presumed that I would like the film, however I mainly ended up loving it for the story and comedy. I have seen it several times (it is becoming a marathon, I think). I am not sure if I can even pick out a favorite scene of mine ~ the chop shop and stripping scenes can be a couple. My favorite KISS song has always been "Strutter" so I was thrilled when I heard it play during Furlong's stripping scene - even if now I cannot get that image out of my mind when I hear it!
