For Mystery's basement performance of "Rock And Roll All Nite", Andrews, Furlong, Huntington, and DeBello recorded the vocals while the L.A. band, "The Devil Roosevelt" separately recorded a rough, garage version of the song.

On November 29th, 1998, on a break from filming DRC, the cast and crew were treated to a KISS concert (including full backstage passes) in Buffalo, NY, during the band's Psycho Circus tour. During the concert, Paul Stanley dedicated the song, "Detroit Rock City" to them. Edward Furlong said about the Kiss concert, "I had the Destroyer album before, but I understand a lot more (about them) after seeing them live. Awesome! They really put on a show."

On a personal note, I was very excited about the release of this film when I heard about it back in the fall of 1998. I have been a big KISS fan for years, seeing them three times in concert. I also had the opportunity in the summer of '99 to see Paul Stanley give a fantastic performance as The Phantom Of The Opera here in Toronto. In fact, in the past, I have even gone to two Halloween parties as Ace Frehley as he looked on the Dressed To Kill album cover. In June 2000, we went and saw the original members of KISS perform during their farewell tour. I was absolutely thrilled! To keep my opinions of the concert brief.....they kicked ass!
