Okay, so I've been fiddling around with the tripod my mum got me for Christmas. Hopefully this should make the in-car shots a lot easier to do with Ciaron and Tim.

Of course, I still need to talk to Tim about being in Raison d'Etre, but he seemed fairly keen before, so I just need to find a day he has off. Ciaron says he has a list of when Tim has time off for the whole of the coming year (Tim's an ambulance driver), so that should make scheduling okay.

Ciaron also says he asked a few actresses from the local theatre group about playing Emily, but got flat refusals. There's one he hasn't tried - the girl who played Juliet in the Queen Mother Theatre's production of Romeo and Juliet a while back. She seemed all right in that, and it's not a particularly demanding role. If she says yes.

Whatever happens, it'll be hard work for Ciaron, though we had a long conversation bordering on an argument in a pub before Christmas, and I think it should turn out fine. He thought his performance in the flashback scene we already filmed was "stilted" and should be re-shot. If we can find the time, I'll shoot it again, even though he's now a bit happier with the performance. After all, it gives me another chance to play with the tripod...
