For the company picnic 2002, I had spoken with some friends and we all agreed on performing as "The Maloneys". I knew that we just had to do Duran Duran's Electric Barbarella.

For this act, I would need a mannequin. I looked all over the place, calling every department store in Pikeville with no luck. I even called Pikeville College. I just about gave up when I was told by a lady at Jenny Wiley that I could check with Messer's Department Store in Martin.

I called Messer's and spoke with the owner, telling him what I needed. He was very helpful and agreed to let me borrow the mannequin in the window for the weekend.

I took her to work and Barbarella, as we called her, was a hit. We dressed her in a genie costume and put Darla's wig on her.

The day of the picnic came and we set Barbarella up on the stage. When the time came for me to sing "Electric Barbarella", we had dressed her in a black dress.

During the video, Brandon and Adam held up a sheet and when it was lowered, A.J. was hand cuffed to Barbarella.

I took the mannequin home that weekend and made a video where the original Barbarella, played by Matthew, is decapitated by Cordelia the vampire girl.

Secret agent Marc Le Bon rebuilds the robotic wonder and upgrades her to Barbarella 5.1.

The film ends with Barbarella infiltrating the Maloney gang. A.J., believing she is a real woman, puts the moves on her.

Have we seen the last of Barbarella? Only time will tell.
