Kash Ihsaab (Open Account) Review by KuwaitFM
Starring: Ali Almofedi, Hayfa Adel, Husain Elmansoor, Khaled Albraychi, Abdelqader Alhadhood
Producer: KTVone
Ratings: 4 1/2 /10

Thriller serials are getting better and better in Kuwait. The storyline and screenplay are good but not excllent nor extraordinary. The acting done by Ali Almofedi and Hayfa Adel are excellent and Khaled Albraychi has the potential to excel in acting. Abdelqader Alhadhood isnt that good he should stay in singing. Ahlaam Mohammed doesn't do much to salvage her position which is already on a slippery spot. Her performance is fair.

The director is excellent at places but he used too many flashbacks which makes you wonder if you are in history or present at times. Husain Almofedi's direction is alright all and all but there's nothing in the serial which could arrest people's attention for very long. You soon don't care who the killer is.

On the whole, Kashf Ihsaab is a non-starter, but not a total loss.

Qoloob Mohashama (Punctured Hearts) Review by KuwaitFM
Starring: Zahra Alkharjee, Mohammed Alajemi, Abdulrahman Alaqel, Zahra Arafat, Samah, Shayma
Producer: KTVONe, IKAROOS
Ratings: 2/10

The story idea is good but the same can't be said of the screenplay. It seems like a confused as also hurried piece of writing. Also Inspector Ahmad (Abdulrahman Alaqel) doesn't make a really good impression of a smart inspector, his acting is weak too. There are alot of unsolved mysteries for example (Mohammed Alajemi)'s first wife is locked, why is she locked up? Why is he having psychological problems? Why cant he sleep at night? Why does he want to commit suicide? He frequently fantasieses about his first wife which looks like (Samah)'s twin!

Zahra Alkharjee slipped naturally into the serial murder's bitch with great ease. Looking after she had a serial which picturised her as a smart kind and lovinging unmarried daughter in Fajer Alsaeed's blockbuster Jarh Elziman. The direction and camerawork is dull and looks like an egyptian serial at times!

Finally Qoloob Mohashama is a weak serial which needs serious improvment and a better revised screenplay along with a capable director.

Aayla Abyath wa Aswad (The Black and White Family) Review by KuwaitFM
Starring: Intisaar Alsharah, Ghanim Alsaleh, Mona Shadad, Samah
Producer: KTVONe
Ratings: 0.5/10

This Comedy flick is a waste of time and effort for Intisaar Alsharah and Ghanim Alsaleh and several others.  The script is apalling and no story is played in almost all the episode except for some lame schemes and pure insanity which disgusts you more than makes you laugh. The newcommer Elham got a better role than she got in several other roles.

The episodes go by as if it was just pure waste on TV. The directing is also not so good, plus the episodes are too short which makes it even worse. Although Samah has handled its role quite well but just the long storyline makes the audience bored stiff of her role.

All and all Aayla Abyath wa Aswad has big names but the script and lack of amusement blew it. It bombed on KTVone and has declared publicly that its a big chunk of BS.
