These are the pics from the 5 day Beduin camping trip in Petra, Jordan. Quite a place.

Wonderful rock formations at the Beduin camp in Petra. Can you believe Nada and I camped in that valley? See if you can spot the 3,000+ year old pictures carved in the rock. More desert flowers and of course, camels. Nada and her daughter looking for the right size stick to ward off snakes and scorpions (yeah, like we're going to touch them with a 10 foot pole...) The tree is a Pistacio Acasia tree which is considered a healing and sacred tree by the Beduins.
