This site came to be when I was sitting around bored one day. I had just added several sections to my Titanic site called titanic domain and was extremely bored with the whole thing. I had started the Titanic site back over three years ago, and had dropped it, and then came back a year later after starting another site called the story center. I was talking to my friend Linda, whom I had met by talking to another friend of mine called Jen, who referred me to Linda's site, the wonderful kate winslet, to show me where she got the inspiration for the new layout of her site jen's titanic site. I contacted Linda through AIM (AOL Instant Messanger) and we started up a conversation. Anyway, I was bored with my Titanic Site, and was thinking of new ideas for another site. Linda and I pondered for a while, and we couldn't come up with anything, so I left, and took a shower. While brushing my teeth after showering, I glanced out my bathroom door and into my bedroom, and saw my wall of pictures above my desk. I am very proud of this wall. On it, I have pictures of all my favorite classic movie stars. I stared a minute and then had an epiphony. What about a web site focused on classic movies and their stars? I walked to my wall, forgeting to rinse the toothpaste out of my mouth, and looked over the pictures. Who to feature first? Elizabeth Taylor, Grace Kelly, Jimmy Stewart? Then I saw Audrey Hepburn. She is my favorite of them all. I grabbed all the pictures I had of her, and decided I had more pictures from her movie Charade than I had any other catergory, so I decided I would feature Audrey Hepburn in Charade for the premier of The Classic Movie Connection. I scanned the pictures, and then went to work. After a month, I am sitting here writing this, and thinking about when this site will open. Of course, if you are reading this, then the site is already open, and I am wasting my time typing this very sentence.
