future readers, I used the more familiar versions we get from the Greek. Besides which, that’s what
they used in the movie so, I am rather stuck with it. Gods AmmunRa - Sun God, King of all the gods, Lord of both Kingdoms of Egypt, and Imhotep’s chance for salvation. ~Ah-Min-Ra~ Osiris- Ammun’s son. God of the Underworld, or the Tuat the Egyptian land of the dead. Murdered by
his brother Set. Husband of Isis. ~Ah-Siri~ Isis- Goddess of Magic, Queen of Heaven. Mother of Horus the Avenger and wife of Osiris. ~Ah-Zet~ Horus- The Avenger. Son of Osiris, who defeated his uncle Set and cast him into the darkness beyond
the Tuat. ~Heru/Her~ Hathor- Goddess of love and marriage. Wife of Horus. ~Het-Heru~ Bastet- Hathor’s sister goddess of lust and desire. (Some sources have her name as Bast but I think the
confusion comes from the spelling in Egyptian which is basically B’stt. So we have no real idea where
the vowels went or what they were and I like Bastet. :) Sekhmet- Goddess of War and Healing, Hathor’s shadow or her dark side, sometimes the same
goddess. ~Sek-he-Mut~ Anubis- God of the dead. Lord of those who’s hearts have stilled. Horus’ half brother he’s the bastard
son of Osiris and Tethys.~Anpu~ Set- God of chaos and destruction, who killed his brother Osiris by tearing him into many pieces and
scattering them all over the land. He then tried to take over Egypt but was thwarted by his sister Isis,
Osiris’ wife and their son Horus. ~Zet-hu~
