Most of our patients come to us with human-related injuries, such as motor vehicle collisions, poisoning (often by pesticides), gunshot wounds, and cat attacks. They receive veterinary care, individual attention, physical therapy and are banded before returning to the wild. For more information on what to do if you find injured wildlife, please visit our rescue page. ![]() The Medina Raptor Center is a non-profit organization. Therefore, we depend on those of you who are willing to help us in donations of time, money, and supplies. By adopting one of our educational birds for yourself, your group, your school, or as a special gift for someone else, you are personally involved in our rehabilitation and educational efforts. Adopters receive our newsletter and a photo of their bird of choice, along with a biography and a certificate of adoption. Your tax-deductible gift goes towards food and care for the bird you select.
