In the King's Service, in His work, following in His step ....

What does this mean but to do the things that Jesus gave to us as an
example? Not just the great names of our history, but you and me.
Everyday we witness the pain and suffering around us that breaks our Father
s heart. Do you not rush to your child when your child cries and expresses
anxiety? Is our Father in Heaven any less of a parent than we are?

When there is small cut, do we not apply neosporin? And, likewise, does He
not rub His anointing upon us to heal our wounds? And as we have learned
from our parents how to apply our earthly remedies, has He not taught us in
His Word how to apply the greatest remedies of all creation.. His Word? His
word is spirit and life, Jesus said.

And when you apply the words of spirit and life, what spirit are you
applying? The ways of the world? or the ways of the Kingdom of God given to
us as an example by the life of Jesus who has told us to go and do likewise?

The Bible you hold in your hands, is it just a great love story? or is it a
practical guide to the way we should act and live? If the Bible is our
guide and example, should we not be doing what it shows us is our Father's
way? To lay hands on the sick and see them recover?

It is not us who heals, but He heals through us, through our prayers,
through our touch, and through our faith as we align our hearts in one
accord with Him. Time is running short for many of those around us who, in
their spirits like little children, cry for a touch from their heavenly
parent.

Say "yes" to Him and to His heart to reach out and heal the hearts and
wounds of those who are poor and suffering. Lift your hands up to Him and
allow Him to mold your hands into the likeness of His hands. If He can heal
the broken in spirit and body through others, can't He heal them through you
also? Yes. He can and will if we will but yield our hardened hearts of
unbelief, overcome our fears, and trust Him and His ways.

Shake off the ways of the world and go to the Great Physician. Obtain from Him the ointment for yourself and for others who do not know about the Great Remedy of life on this earth and its pains. Lift up your hands, say "yes" to being molded and formed into His hands, and make a difference in the lives of those around you by following His example and in His steps. God will be with you.
