Who are the largest aftermarket parts manufacturers for the Impreza?

The top manufacturer is, of course, Subaru Technica International (or STi) followed closely by Prodrive and rounding out the top three is Cusco Progressive Equipment. STi and Cusco both have Japanese websites only. However, you can go to babelfish.altavista.com or use the handy translating box below to convert the pages to your native language.

What is available from GReddy Performance?

GReddy Evolution Exhaust Systems

With a similar flow rate and muffler can to the PE systems, the EVO's new offset tip design improves road clearance in most models. Another benefit is the appearance of a small muffler on the car, but still allows for excellent sound suppression. The newly added embossed GReddy logos on both the SUS tip and can will set the system apart from the rest. Click the Evo logo for more info.

GReddy Turbo And Intercooler Kits

All GReddy Turbo and Turbo Upgrade kits exclusively use GReddy Spec. Mitsubishi Turbochargers. Our kits are design and tested to match the best-sized turbo per application. This means you get good response, smooth driveability, performance that can still be upgraded, and lasting reliability.

It takes a tremendous amount of money and time to successfully increase the power of a naturally aspirated engine. With GReddy bolt-on turbocharger kits, you can obtain instant horsepower gains with less time and money, while still having room for upgrading. Vehicles already equipped with turbochargers have engines with a large potential for power, which can not be fully obtained by using the factory turbochargers. By replacing the stock turbocharger with a GReddy turbo upgrade kit, you can experience a powerful performance difference. These turbo kits can and should also be combined with GReddy intercoolers for maximum performance.

Are there lesser cost parts available (i.e. cold air intakes) for the Impreza?

There are many lesser cost parts available for the Impreza. For example, AEM manufactures a cold air intake that will run you about $229.99 at Alta Performance and looks like the picture below when installed.

Are body kits available for the Impreza?

There are many body kits available for the Impreza and more specifically the 2002 Impreza WRX. My personal favorite, because of its great looks for a really good price, is the Wings West designed kit.

Where can I find comprehensive reviews of Subaru aftermarket parts?

The best site for comprehensive Subaru aftermarket part reviews that I have found after some extensive searching is http://www.subarureview.com. Not only does this site have the most comprehensive and extensive information that I have seen out there, but they also have some sick pictures of some hooked-up Subarus. It's definitely worth your time.

Where can I buy Impreza parts online?

One of the best places I have seen online, besides the actual manufacturers sites, is Alta Performance.
Click on the link to check out their site. They have an extremely comprehensive list of parts that they offer including the revered IHI Turbos.
