Son Goku: Goku, or Kakkarot, is a saiyan from the Planet Vegeta, son of Bardock. Frieza then destroyed his planet when he was an infant, but he escaped by ship to the Planet Earth, where Gohan (Not Son Gohan), discovered him and his natural ability to fight. He met Bulma soon later to search for dragonballs, balls which summon the dragon on Earth. One day they stumbled along Master Roshi and Umigame (Turtle), and received a dragonball and the flying nimbus. The nimbus could only be used by a person who never lied and was never known as an evil person. Unfortunately, Bulma couldn't go on it. Goku was then trained by Master Roshi, where he found a new buddy called Krillin. They remained friends for the rest of their lives. Later Goku defeated the Red Ribbon Army, just him as a small boy. He met several new characters in the late Dragonball series, including Tien, Yamcha, Chaotzu, Oolong, etc. When he was an adult, he married Chi-Chi and had two boys, Son Gohan (Named after his grandfather), and Son Goten. Goku faced many battles in his life, and is the Legendary Super Saiyan, as they say it. He defeated the most drawn out villain ever, Frieza. He also defeated Radditz (his brother), Majin Buu, Majin Vegeta, Brolli, Shenlong, Super 17, and more than we can list. Goku is a nice fellow who everyone trusts in the battle zone. He always gives everyone a second chance. Of course, most villains take advantage of this. He got killed while helping to kill Radditz, and also died when he transported Cell to King Kai's place.

Son Gohan: Son Gohan, the son of Goku, is half saiyan, while half human. Gohan first appears in the DBZ series, in Saiyan Saga. He acts like a coward and hides behind Chi-Chi. Not until they find his hidden strength, when Radditz captures him. Son Gohan likes a good laugh and is friends with Krillin and Bulma. He's mostly been a cowardice until the Cell Saga, that is. He always got freaked out, and when he fought, one of his friends was there to bail him out. His first trainer was Piccolo, kind of mean at the time. Gohan was the strongest warrior in the Universe at once, the warrior who defeated Cell, probably one of the hardest monsters to fight. He became SSJ2 in the process of fighting him, the very first to become SSJ2. Really, he released one of the biggest kamehameha's in the history of Dragonball Z.

Son Vegeta: Son Vegeta is the prince of Planet Vegeta. He is known widely for his arrogance and pride as a saiyan. He first appears in the Dragonball Z Series in the Saiyan Saga. His sidekick was Nappa, but he sent him to another universe with an attack. He was never seen again, until DBGT. Vegeta began to turn good and helped the Z Warriors defeat some dudes, including the Ginyu Force and the Androids. He was second to turn SSJ, if you don't count Future Trunks. Chibi trunks is Vegeta's son, and Bulma is Vegeta's wife. They usually didn't get a long very well...Vegeta always threatened Kakkarot that when he was stronger than him, he would destroy him. Which he never did. Vegeta became Majin and Bebi, plainly because he wanted to most of the time for a greater power. He became SSJ4 by Bulma's "Brute Ray".

Future Trunks: Future Trunks, the future son of Vegeta, appears in the Trunks Saga, and mysteriously beats King Cold and the robotic Frieza. The Z Warriors freak out when they see this. A little after, Goku comes back from Earth, finally, after he defeated Frieza. Trunks talks to him about the ferocious androids, and also gives him some meds to cure him from an upcoming heart attack. Trunks was very strong at first, but then the Z Warriors caught up. Goku was still stronger. Trunks was the first to go Ultra SSJ, which occured in the Cell Saga. Son Vegeta really didn't care about him, until he found out that he is a true warrior. Trunks was killed by Cell while Son Gohan was fighting Cell. Vegeta then started blowing moves at Cell frantically, fast, crazy. He was then wished back by the Eternal Dragon, and went back to the future. He then defeated the Androids with ease and then found out Cell was close to the Time Capsule, and then destroyed him in his Imperfect stage. History could never repeat itself again. That's all we see left of this hero, but then Chibi Trunks grows older.
Son Goten: Son Goten, the son of Goku & Chi-Chi, likes to hang out with his best friend Chibi Trunks. They've been pals their whole lives. Goten goes SSJ and he first appears in the Buu Saga. He has one brother, Son Gohan. He and Trunks once fuse to form Gotenks, a very crazy and powerful character with weird moves such as Super Ghost Kamikaze Attack. Son Goten proves himself useful once in a while...

Chibi Trunks: Chibi Trunks, the son of Vegeta and Bulma, has a good spirit and is good friends with Son Goten and Son Goku. He and Goten are best friends, as they can never be separated.

Piccolo: Piccolo, the offspring of Daimou Piccolo and a namekian, turns to be very mean at first, and he first appears in the late Dragonball series to the early DBZ series. He first wanted to take over the world, but then he began to help the Z Warriors and became friendlier. He trained Son Gohan and kind of developed a bond with him for the rest of his life. It was his first friend he ever had. When he became an ally for the Z Warriors, he helped defeat Frieza, Cell, Radditz, etc. He officially fused with two namekians, Kami and Nail. He becomes kinder after fusing with Kami. Piccolo develops good friendships in the late DBZ series and also turns to like kids.
