Chapter 7
Kakarot
Goten and Uubuu put down their arms as they saw that it was indeed Dende. He now looked older and stronger. He now looked a lot like Piccolo.
Goten looked in disbelief, "Dende? How?"
Dende smiled as he started walking away from the two warriors and into a corridor, "All will become clear once you enter my sanctuary."
Goten and Uubuu wearily followed Dende through the dusty cobwebbed corridors until they came to the center room. Goten and Uubuu's mouth dropped as they saw what was in the room. The room was full of scriptures and strange alien beings. The aliens took no notice as Uubuu and Goten walked in the room.
Uubuu looked around, "There are no people left on Earth except for Toruku's armies. Who are these people?"
Dende answered seriously, "These are all the gods in the universe. They have come to help us and King Kai, try to figure out what happened in the timeline."
Dende sat Goten and Uubuu down in a seat. "You see, the future you are in right now was never supposed to happen. Someone went back and changed the past to make this future."
Goten sat up, "What? I knew something was wrong. Who went back?"
Dende looked into Goten's eyes, "Your father."
Goten shook his head, "No, it's impossible."
Dende nodded, "It's not the Gokou that you and I know, it is Kakarot. "
Goten sat back and rubbed his temples, "Man, this is giving me a headache."
Dende sat back and told Goten and Uubuu the story, " In another dimension, Gokou never hit his head and forgot his mission to destroy the Earth. The young 'Kakarot' killed off everyone and eventually was sent back home with Vegeta, Raditz, and Nappa. But when they went home they found out that their entire world was destroyed. Looking for answers, they went to Freeza's ship…
Freeza's men walked up to the Saiyians with smirks on their faces. "Freeza would like to see you now." Nappa, Raditz, and Kakarot walked through the corridors of Freeza's ship behind their new king Vegeta. Vegeta stopped his only subjects with one hand as they approached Freeza's throne room, "Only Nappa and I shall enter."
As Vegeta and Nappa entered the room, Kakarot angrily asked his brother, "Why is Vegeta commanding me? He doesn't look that much older than me. I bet I could kill him."
Raditz smacked his brother across the corridor, "Are you an idiot? Vegeta is the king, while we aren't even in the Saiyian elite. Vegeta would kill you in an instant, he's stronger than he looks."
Kakarot wiped the blood from his mouth as he stood up. He was only about six and a half and was very intelligent like his father. "Vegeta is the King of a dead race. We are the only Saiyians left. Our world is gone. And I bet Freeza was the one to blow it up. He alone has the power."
Raditz quickly choked his brother against the wall, "What is wrong with you, Kakarot? Are you crazy? How dare you talk that way not only about King Vegeta but also about Freeza? That is treason and if you talk that way again I will kill you."
Kakarot never forgot that moment. That was the moment he knew he was on his own. He turned his back on his brother and made his own plans. He was going to kill the rest of the Saiyians and become the King. Then he would get strong enough to kill Freeza and become the strongest in the universe!
Dende frowned, "You see this Gokou, unlike the one in your timeline, was evil. Because he had never hit his head and become innocent and loving, he became ruthless. Also, unlike your father, he fought nonstop conquering races and becoming stronger. But unfortunately he still had your father's determination to always become stronger and never give up. Every fight Kakarot fought in he gave his all."
Uubuu interrupted, "But how did he go back in time and change everything?"
"Fifteen years later King Vegeta figured he was stronger than Freeza. He had also been fighting nonstop preparing planets for Freeza and was stronger than any of Freeza's henchmen. He figured with the other Saiyians he could kill Freeza and command the universe. Well, Kakarot with his intelligence knew Vegeta was underestimating Freeza's power. So he quickly escaped Freeza's ship in a pod and went to the furthest planet possible. Vegeta was outraged in Kakarot's betrayal and planned on killing him after the showdown with Freeza. Well, it was safe to say that the Saiyians were all killed rather easily by Freeza. Freeza regretted his choice in letting the four Saiyians live and decided to tie up all loose strings. He sent his best generals and the Ginew Force to kill Kakarot and extinguish the Saiyian race forever. But he didn't know where Kakarot had landed, on Omega's Star."
Goten got a drink of water and sat down, "Ok. Now what was so big about Omega's Star?"
"Omega's Star had varying gravity on the planet. Kakarot landed in the area where the gravity was 20 times that which he was used to, so of course it was incredibly hard for him to move. Kakarot loved it and used the gravity as a way to train and become strong enough to kill Freeza. Kakarot eventually became used to the increased gravity and become much stronger. On this planet there lived ancient masters of the fighting arts. Kakarot went to the part of the planet where they lived and fought and killed all the masters but one."
Kakarot strained to stand up to his full 6 feet. The gravity on this area of the planet had to be over 50 times to what he had just gotten used to. He hadn't thought that a planet could have more than one gravity, but this, of course, proved him wrong. He was now about twenty-two years old and still had the heart of a warrior beating rapidly in his chest. He looked at the alien being in front of him. He never suspected that there were creatures out in the universe this strong.
He had been fighting the creature for a couple of minutes and already could sense he was loosing. Kakarot charged at the short yellow alien ready to attack but the alien put his hands to his eyes and yelled out, "Solar flare!"
Kakarot was blinded as the alien's attack left him without sight. The alien punched Kakarot through a mountain with ease. The fight was over. Kakarot lay bleeding on the ground ready to die when the alien quickly cut off Kakarot's tail and used a jo jo root to repair his body. Kakarot spat in the alien's face ready to again fight, "How dare you cut off my greatest source of power! You will die for that."
The alien put down its guard and looked in Kakarot's eyes, "I will train you and make you strong enough to beat Freeza."
Kakarot put down his guard and looked into the master's eye's. As he saw he was serious, he smiled an evil smile of satisfaction.
Goten interrupted Dende with a question, "Why would the alien master want to teach Kakarot and make him stronger? I would think he would know that Kakarot was evil just by him trying to kill him."
Dende nodded his head in agreement, "Yes, he knew that Kakarot was evil, but he also knew of Freeza. He knew that Freeza was much more ruthless and evil than Kakarot. Freeza was the strongest in the universe and he himself had no chance against the emperor. But as he looked in Kakarot's eyes he saw the ability that he could have, and the pure power his form could possess. Kakarot was a legendary Saiyian, the race that becomes stronger each time it survives a grueling battle. He knew Kakarot could have the power to beat Freeza! That's why he taught him everything he knew and fought against him everyday."
Kakarot smirked. It had been almost 4 months and Kakarot knew that with each loss to the alien he was becoming much stronger. He felt a strange liking to the alien each time it beat him almost to death. The two never talked outside of training which was more than fine to Kakarot; what the hell would he say to the little bastard anyways?
His blood running on the ground in front of him distracted him. He struggled to breathe as his broken ribs were constantly ripping into his soft, unprotected lungs. The pain really didn't bother him much. He had learned to control all of his body functions much long ago. Suddenly, as he lay on the ground he began to black out. He knew he was dying and opened his mouth. The alien put the root into it, and Kakarot swallowed. The alien watched Kakarot as he flipped to his feet ready to again fight.
The alien teleported away, a technique that Kakarot had just mastered. Kakarot smiled, he was glad that his stupid scouter had been broken long ago. He felt that it was good fortune or he couldn't have ever learned to sense fighting powers from the master. Kakarot put his two fingers to his forehead and looked the planet over for the master. He could tell that the master was trying to hide his power but he was too good at the technique to be tricked. Kakarot teleported above the alien and flip kicked him into the ground.
The alien lay in the crater dazed as Kakarot put his hands on his side doing the first attack the alien creature ever taught him, "Full Power! Kame…"
The creature suddenly saw Kakarot above him and started his own attack. He opened his mouth as mist came out, "Super ghost kami kaze attack!" A ghost of the master came from his mouth and charged at Kakarot.
Kakarot knew that if the ghost hit him the explosion would be deadly, he clenched his teeth in concentration, "hame…"
The ghost was close to him now as it yelled out, "Here I come!!"
Just as the ghost was about to slam into Kakarot, he yelled out," Haaa!"
Kakarot's kamehama blew up the ghost and slammed into the master. The master strained with both hands to fight the beam's enormous power.
Kakarot quickly landed on the ground and slowly walked toward the alien pushing the beam back into him. The alien's feet ripped through the ground as he fought the beam. Kakarot was tired of playing with the master, now was the time to kill him. Kakarot teleported behind the master interrupting the attack and surprising the alien. He grabbed the master's neck ready to break it, "Now tell me now why I shouldn't just kill you now?"
The master sighed, "I knew this day would come, Kakarot. And I have prepared for the day your power would overcome my own. I know where you could train to become even more powerful than you ever imagined."
Kakarot let the master go and asked him, "Ok, you have my attention. Now where is this special place?"
"In the center of the planet there is an area where the planet's gravity is at it's most. Over 150 times that of the gravity where we are now. That's over 270 times the gravity of your planet. Scan the surroundings, can you tell that Freeza's forces are close? You have to train there until Freeza's forces come to the planet to beat them."
Kakarot nodded, "I understand, thanks."
Kakarot quickly teleported behind the alien again and broke his neck, "Idiot."
Kakarot stole the rest of the masters Jo Jo roots and put his two fingers to his forehead, " Makkensapo!"
An orange beam with a yellow spiral slammed into the ground tearing the planet apart. Kakarot followed the beam until he found himself in an area where he was forced to the ground in pain. He struggled to pushup position and smiled as he forced himself to start a total of 3000 pushups, "I will become the strongest in the universe!"
Dende shook his head in exasperation, "A month after that, while Kakarot was fighting a teamed up Dodoria, Zarbon, and Ginew Force, Kakarot became Super Saiyian and easily killed them all. Freeza heard of this and called his father King Cold to see him kill the legendary super Saiyian. Well, a well-trained Kakarot easily killed Freeza's father first with an unbelievably powerful attack.
Freeza looked at his father's dead and smoking body lying on the ground. "No, it isn't possible!! My father is stronger than me! How can I beat him?!?"
Kakarot had plenty of time to train and become used to his super Saiyian form. At first he couldn't believe he was the legendary super Saiyian. He had heard legends, of the power and every time he went super Saiyian he felt it. Power. The only thing he had ever wanted.
Kakarot turned to a quivering Freeza, "You killed my father and now I've killed yours. We are even. I just want to leave the fight with you knowing that I am the strongest in the universe, and that will never change!"
Freeza smiled and started to fly away happily. He figured that no monkey would ever be more powerful than a warrior like him. Freeza was about to go and power up to full power when he suddenly saw Kakarot in front of him, "I feel your power Freeza. This can't be your normal form, transform like me. I changed my mind, I want to kill you and feel the second most powerful warrior's blood in my hands."
Freeza powered up and smiled, "You had to have killed my father with luck. Yes, that's it. It was luck. He had his guard down."
Kakarot slyly smiled and shrugged as he watched as Freeza grew in size and eventually went into full power. Kakarot frowned, "Is that all? God, you aren't even worth my time. I'll kill you later."
Freeza screamed in rage and then started to laugh, "I'll blow up the planet! You can't survive in space!! Ha! Ha! Ha!"
Kakarot watched as Freeza made an enormous death ball and threw it into the center of the planet. He knew he only had a couple of minutes. He slammed his fist through Freeza's face and instantly killed the lizard like monster. He then flew to Freeza's father's spaceship and took off. The debris of the exploding planet hit the ship but he was safe. "Thanks Freeza, I was getting tired of that planet."
Goten shook his head, "You mean he killed, all of Freeza's most powerful forces, Freeza and his dad, that easily? How did he get that kind of power? My dad barely beat Freeza!"
Dende nodded, "It's true, Kakarot never had the friends or the children that your father had. He had no wife, no responsibilities, no planet to save, no reason to live except to train. He trained much more than your father and was a much better fighter."
Uubuu sat up in his chair, "It was nice you told us all the details and everything Dende, but you still haven't told us how he changed our timeline."
Dende smiled, "That's the fun part."
